About the Author

Jay and Luvleen Sidhu, a unique father-and-daughter team, are the co-founders of BankMobile, America's first absolutely fee-free digital bank aimed at providing an affordable, effortless, and financially empowering banking experience to the underbanked, millennials, and middle-income Americans. Jay is also the Chairman and CEO of BankMobile and Customers Bank, a $9.2 billion asset bank. Prior to joining Customers Bank, he served as the Chairman and CEO of Sovereign Bancorp Inc. There, he grew the organization from an IPO of $12 million to a market cap approaching $12 billion, crediting it as the 17th largest banking institution in the country.

He has received various recognition's in the industry, including Financial World's CEO of the Year, Turnaround Entrepreneur of the Year, and was named the Large Business Leader of the Year. Jay earned a Master of Business Administration from Wilkes University and graduated from the Harvard Business School's Leadership Course.

Luvleen is also the Chief Strategy Officer for BankMobile, and has been recognized in the industry for her accomplishments and was named the Lehigh Valley Business Women of Influence - Women to Watch Honoree in February 2016; selected as a winner of New York Business Journal's Women of Influence Awards in November 2015; one of Auto Finance News' '10 Executives to Watch in Auto Finance' in September 2015; and one of Bank Innovation's '2015 Innovators to Watch' in June 2015.
