Absolutely brilliant! In this beautifully crafted story, Mahasweta Devi raises a number of important themes: the importance of questioning and intellectual curiosity, the need for education, as well as the issues surrounding inequity in society. Through the charming protagonist, a young girl who is always asking questions, the author suggests that asking questions, seeking knowledge, and reading books can liberate us all. An absolutely beautiful book for readers of all ages.

One of the best children's books I have read so far. Children learn the importance of asking questions, self esteem and confidence and the importance of going after what one wants in a positive way. I love the character of Moyna!!!
