About the Author
When Kait's not preoccupied writing "intense and riveting" paranormal plots or "high-voltage" love scenes that make even seasoned romance readers blush, she can usually be found spending time with her family or with her nose buried in a good book. She lives in Florida with her husband and two young sons.

I learned about this author when she was invited in a Facebook event even if contemporary romances are far from my favorite reads, the paranormal side intrigued me.
So sure, by entering a series with book 3, it is not the best way to understand all the ramifications of a society, but I gathered enough intel to comprehend the working of their society.
With everything Rogue/Jared went through, it is amazing he became such a good man. And despite everything he says, he is a hero, a protector of the weakest, a savior of the hopeless. And his revenge, to me, was no revenge, only a reclaim of what was his and should have stayed his if he had not been robbed of his rights.
“You’ll go to hell for this,” she slurred. “You forget, Princess”—he brushed his thumb over her cheek—“I’m already on the list of permanent residents.”
He might hide his true identity to Maeve, but she is also the one to not recognize him, the boy whom sacrificed everything for her. And even when detail after detail, she is able to put her finger on the truth, she can shake herself to see who is really facing her.
Maeve, I am a little confused by her, if she had been 20, I might have accepted her mistakes, her blindness and her carelessness to make the right decisions, but she is around 32, no more a child or a young woman, and still she acts with a lack of maturity rather confounding.
What astonishes me is after the abuses she suffered as a child, it looks like it was just a bad experience you turn the page after it, when it should have left scars and leave her wary of men and their power over women. And as it is left as a secret, it does not appear she had seen a counselor to help her overcome the events.
Why I was unsettled by her, on one side she appears like a pampered spoiled person, unable to think straight when under pressure and prone to act rashly, then she takes the orphaned kids under her wing, she even help save Rogue.
In all, it is a fun and entertaining read, with actions, great side characters and some sensual times.
I am now curious about whom will be next, if it is Maeve’s bother, he has a long way to me to redeem his way.
I was granted an advance copy by the publisher Sourcebooks Casablanca through Netgalley and Edelweiss.
Here is my true and unbiased opinion.
Jared and Maeve a great friends. Altho he never wanted or had a real friend growing up. She pushed him to accept their her friendship.
She was attacked by her Uncle Buck . Who had been doing things that Uncle's definitely shouldn't do to little girls. Maeve killed him, but Jared took the blame. He and his father were kicked out of the Grey Wolf Pack. Unbeknownst to Maeve, Jared's father was killed, and Jared gravely wounded.
Jared is now known s the Rogue, a dangerous criminal. He fought his way to the top in Underground fighting rings. Now he fights for the rogue females and the children, the outcasts.
The Vampires have made a serum from Maeve's blood. But tested it on Rogue's. Who cares if rogue's disappear? Who knows when they do disappear?
Jared kidnaps Maeve and she goes on an adventure, her first time really off the ranch..
Do they find the antidote to the serum? What happens when she learns who the Rogue really is? Will her brother Maverick finally tell her what really happened to her friend?
Will she understand the boy who became the man that he is now?
Great new read..Love this series. It has everything..Danger, adventure, hot sex..And a love many years in the making.
Mauve or "Mae" is the sister of the strongest packleader in the US. He has always looked out for her and taken care of her. She has never known being on the outside of a pack and being alone or hungry.
When Mae is abducted from her house after seeing that the only way she can help her pack is to leave with Rogue and find the solutions that all wolves will need to keep them safe from the vampire's who have threatened them and all wolves. When Rogue first comes into her room she is scared and not sure what to do but once he has convinced her that it was the only way she left without even leaving a note for her brother.
The Vampire's used her blood to create a serum where they could feed off the werewolf's. The only way to make a serum to cure her pack from this threat is to find the scientist that made the serum and have him make the antidote using her blood again. Rogue has connections everywhere and only he can find this scientist and get him to create the antidote. But Rogue wants more than just the antidote for his fellow Rogue wolves and himself.
