Mid Tones were spot on
Treble is not tinny
Reminds me of the Polk speakers I have for my 5.1 surround sound system, very warm sound
Comfort is good
Looks durable for a pair of ear-buds
Price is excellent
Having just gone through a $20 pair of "ok" ear-buds in less than a month, I figured I'd give these a shot before spending 40-50 dollars. For $15 with Amazon prime free 2 day shipping, didn't have much to lose.
Was very surprised by quality of sound. If these last a year or more I'll never buy anything else.
Only thing that could make these better, is if it had a mic to use for my phone.
I put my buds through hell, so I'll update this review when/if they break so we can get a decent idea on longevity.
Bass is as advertised. More than I really need. I use a creative Zen Nano Plus, which has a custom equalizer. When I use the setting I had for the Sennheiser buds it was too much bass. Another setting with less bass is just right.
The only negative is it comes with only one set of buds, apparently medium, which fits me Ok.
Sound blocking is excellent. Do NOT wear these jogging or biking. It's not safe.
I rated the treble 3 stars only because I am old and can't hear high frequencies. Too many Pink Floyd concerts in the 1960's. And 160,000 miles in a '71 Pinto.
The price for this is really incredible.
I first purchased these headphones from Amazon about two years ago. They were wonderful. They fit nicely into my ears. They had good sound. They had a mic so I could use it as a hands free device. And best of all they were inexpensive (but not cheap). I was so happy with them that when they finally broke after two years of hard use I immediately purchased another pair of the exact same unit.
Let's quickly sum up all the changes: they feel cheap now, in less than six months and one of the buds has already gone out, there is no longer have a mic, the unit is more expensive.
In short, what used to be an amazing product (the best pair of earbuds I've used) has been changed so that it is now just garbage. Don't waste your time with these.
They are awesome as far as sound goes! Great, booming bass, great treble. Just great overall sound quality, as far as I'm concerned. The only thing I don't like about them is...how the whole "sound insulation earbud" model fits in your ear and how it feels. Not the most comfortable thing in the world, to me, at least. Not that these are bad of their kind!! No, not at all! I have tried several other pairs, and as far as comfort goes, these are probably tops. I just tend to prefer the ordinary type of earbud. However, *insert-winkie-face* I am just willing to make the sacrifice so that my music sounds incredible!!!!!!!
So yeah, all-in-all, I was satisfied with this product. :D
