I WOULD rate this item very highly based on the solid construction and intuitive design, but the mounting screws are too long. This might seem to be nit-picky, but think about it....I purchased this product which was designed specifically for my rifle (Winchester mod 94AE) and I can't use it unless I locate and purchase the correct screws. It says on the package that these rings will mount on my rifle, but here they sit on my reloading bench while I waste time and money looking for the right screws.

I purchased these rings off Amazon. I received the package everything was good cept 1 screw allan receptacle wasn't machined. I called Wideview and they asked what the problem was I told them , they took my address and I had the screw to replace the bad one AND another spare in 3 days. They didn't give me any hastle or try to stick me with shipping. They are what an american company should be .

Very pleased.

Now for the rings. DIG IT !!! They look GREAT . Although they are a bit tall and when using scope you can't get a good cheek weld. You can go from scope to Irons in 1 second. Cheek weld isn't a priority so it doesn't affect how I use it.

The screws fit the pre tapped holes perfect .

Would def recommend to a friend.

It took me a while to getting around to mounting this, but to my relief it does pretty much fit and will work. It is good that I am not putting these on a nice carbine, however. The Winnie has spent most of its life in the trunk of my car as I live in a rural area and it is common to see deer, fox, an offhand wolf, and once or twice a bobcat even. Not to mention the odd rabid possum, skunk, or coon during the day. I was lucky to get a second hand sort of beat up Tasco World Class Plus 3-9x44 Japan for cheap, so looks aren't that important. Now back to the ring set. Don't suppose this is a set of Leopold rings here. The 4 receiver screws are for countersunk, but only two of the holes are machined that way. Oops. Some extra loctite please. Finish on the aluminum is not first rate, but for $15 oh well. Putting the top mounts on I found one of the screws to be -well sort of self tapping I guess-. You know- this is a go in the trunk brush bunny. Overall the thing is about the same build quality as my neighbors Daisy BB gun back when we were kids, but sort of thinking that going in makes me not mind. Actually the function and height of the scope is not bad and I like that part. It's too bad somebody doesn't actually make a set of these (if you know what I mean). We had a word for it back in the days, but I don't wanna get thrown off of my kid's little league football team. So I'll just repeat that the function is just fine, but the fit and finish aren't very good

These are the second type scope mounts I ordered. The first type I ordered were not right for my gun. When selling for a Winchester 94, it should make clear that there is more than one type Winchester 94.

No issues installing on my Winchester 94 Ranger. All the bolts are included. Seems strong and reliable. I hunted for three weeks with the new mounts and the gun stayed in sight through my punishment in the woods.

These would more than likely work well except for the fact that I was missing one flathead screw for the front mount and the one that did come bottomed out before securing it. Even if it seated properly I was missing a screw and it is a mystery thread-I couldn't get standard or metric options to work. I have an early 2000s 94AE. I've since welded them to the rifle. Now it shoots around corners. I've since welded all my firearms. It's quite a laugh to watch people shoot the other lane's target at the range.

Received the mounts timely, however when trying to install I realized that the screws included are not the same thread as the holes in the rifle. Bummer, I now have to source the proper screws. Otherwise I would have given it a 5.

These should say that they work on the Ranger 3030, but took some digging and reading fourms to figure it out. They work, and install jsut as advertised. Awesome add on to my old winchester Ranger 3030. No where on it did it say angle eject, AE, or anything. Good buy!
