I am so glad I discovered this series. Wife by Wednesday is the tale of Blake who needs a wife for one year in order to collect an inheritance from his father.

Samantha is the owner of a matchmaking firm to whom Blake presents his request. After extensive researching Sam comes up with three prospects for Blake. He turns the table on her dismissing the choices she has made for him. Instead he would like her to become his wife for one year. He presents her with a hard to resist package. Stunned by his offer, Sam tells him she must think it over.

That is all I am giving away. There is a lot more to this story and the blend of a little mystery makes it all the more enjoyable. Catherine Bybee knows how to get your attention and hold it until you have turned the last page.

Don't hesitate to pick up this series as each book can be read as a stand alone.

This is probably a beach book. Cool concept: 1) Do need a wife, husband? 2) Do you need to satisfy a will, or some other obligation? 3) Do you have any money? The main character (female) runs an "agency" that sets people up for a fee. It's different for people like me down in Alabama, but an interesting concept. She meets a client who needs a wife. You can guess what happens next. And yes, there's a twist. But it was short and sweet, and there maybe two or 3 sex scenes that are NOT very explicit. Whew! The characters are light and fluffy but fun to read and they could easily get their own story told in a book. Oh that's right, they did. So far I've read three. Definitely a beach or lunchtime book. Oh the audiobook is great too. Tanya Eby does an excellent job with male and female voices. You can sometimes get the audiobook it for an additional $1.99, after buying the kindle version...but you might have to be an Audible member.

What a wonderful story from beginning to end. I fell in love with Sam and Blake and their not so conventional story. This is my first time reading a book by Catherine Bybee and I must say I have found myself another excellent author..

We have all read tons of story that have this similar story line. However, this book was still enjoyable. Characters were likeable. Book has editing issues, but they are not as bad as some books out there. Story is about Samantha and Blake. Samantha has a matchmaking business designed primarily to find wives for men who don't want the emotional attachment, simply want a marriage of convenience. Blake needed a wife in order to inherit his father's money and home. He had to do this before his 36th birthday so he hires Sam to do this. When he discovers that Sam is actually a woman, he is interested in her. She was not only beautiful, she was intelligent, honest and direct. When Sam gives Blake a few options to pick, he decides he wants to marry Samantha instead so he makes her an offer she simply could no resist. He offered to pay for life, to make sure Sam's younger sister Jordan's hospital bill forever. That was Sam's biggest concern, the hospital was too expensive for her and her business was a bit unstable.

She accepts and they both get married immediately. Blake is a British Duke and their adventure as Duke and Duchess begin. They will encounter many situations along the way, as well as their increasing attraction. Even though the both agreed on not sleeping together, it seemed rather stupid not to, especially when their chemistry was off the charts. Even that agreement doesn't hold and they become intimate. The story continues and there are tons of little things happening and family drama and problems they face that threaten to expose their agreement.

Book was enjoyable. If you can overlook a few editing issues, then this book was worth the 99 cents!

It was a enjoyable read, you had you laughing at times, I didn't want to put the book down. Very likeable characters so much so I hope that in the next series of the books she intertwines them in that next stories. You feel bad for Blake because he truly loves Sam and you know what's going to happen before they do.

This story was predictable but I enjoyed it and found myself drawn into the characters' lives, especially rooting for Samantha and Blake to fall in love. They just seemed be good for each other and I hoped the marriage between them would work out, regardless of the reasons they, initially, got married.

All in all, an enjoyable read which took me into the world of the rich and royal - the type of world I'd be happy to immerse myself into again in the future.

Very enjoyable story. It started out as a marriage solely of convenience due to mistreating wealthy individuals. There are several surprise turns in the story so you keep going and don't put the book down. I recommend this author as I've read several of her books and to dAte none have let me down. I look forward to reading more books by Ms Bybee. Thanks for sharing your writing talents with us.

I usually put this little tid bit in all my reviews, so, here goes: I will NOT put a lot of information about the book in my reviews because then why would you read it then? And if you did, it would probably ruin it for you!

So, with that said: I LOVE this Author and her stories so far!! I took a chance on the first book I read from her called: "Not Quite Dating". It knocked my socks off! (Well, booties really.) :) So I went and bought 4 more of her books just because. I have read 3 of the 5 so far and they have not been disappointing in the least! I KNEW this Author was going to be worth following!!

In this book: Wife by Wednesday, you have Blake a well established sexy as Hell man. You also have Sam, a self made business woman. Catherine describes these two and the other characters in this story, so well, that you can actually picture them as real people. Blake meets up with Sam for a business reason and then it turns into a fantastic trip of twists, adventures, humor, heartache and much more. You will get all kinds of satisfaction reading about how these two people rub each other the wrong way and yet the "Oh so right way". There is not one dull moment in this story.

Obviously, you can tell that I definitely recommend this book. I also would recommend that you read her other series: Not Quite. That is just as great as this one is turning out to be. So ENJOY!!

I really love this author. But after saying that, I fail to see why every book has to have explicit sex. I get so tired of skipping pages. Her books would be fabulous instead of just good if the sex were eliminated or a warning was put in the description of the book. The characters are fun and endearing. The story flows. The editing is great. But...

Just the sort of book to read after a fast-paced intricate thriller which leaves you breathless! Catherine Bybee is the mistress of the light romance and this book is typical of the "arranged marriage" genre.

The characters are pleasant enough, the heroine is not stupid, the gorgeous, rich, titled (he has it all!) hunk is also a pleasant character. The essential spurned girlfriend is in fine form and causes just enough trouble to make a ripple in the journey to a happy ending!

A light, traditional, predictable but enjoyable read.
