Product Description

FURT is a befuzzling eruption of laughter in a box. It is a party game that defies logic and a reasonable explanation. You have to play to understand and when you do, you'll laugh until your sides ache. In this game players race to be the first INTO the mouth of a fiery volcano by completing actions from the six wacky-packed FURT categories. You might be making up outrageous lies about yourself. Freshening up with a quick shower in your host's bathroom. Or acting out the words 'butter patty.' Perfect for: game nights, girls' nights, family get-togethers, road trips to Vegas, frozen winter evenings in the Midwest, lazy days poolside, high school detention, prison riots, peace treaty talks, jury duty and any other gathering that could use a good laugh.

One of my friends owns this game we've played this game a couple of times thus far. It is thoroughly enjoyable, so much so that one of my friends asked me to order this for her. Full disclosure: I don't own this game. Yet.

First off, the premise: much like the game of "Life," your objective is to reach a certain space on the board. Unlike "Life," you get to make an absolute fool of yourself on the way there.

With zany challenges that will have you talking like a member of the opposite sex, roleplaying with other players, spelling the last word of every sentence another player says as you would in a spelling bee, and worse, you can expect anything from awkward to downright ridiculous and everything in between.

The game is supposedly for a maximum of 8 players, but we added a game piece in the form of an Iron Man statuette because we had an extra player. The game still played fine.

Pros:
+Fun.
+Will make you do awkward things for the enjoyment of your friends.
+"Friends. F-R-I-E-N-D-S. Friends."
Cons:
- If you are self-conscious, you'll probably have a hard time playing this game.
- The Iron Man figurine we used as an extra game piece kept talking about how he was a supergenius and really rich.

I played Quelf the other day, and it was tons of fun! I got this game hearing from people that it is very similar to Quelf so I thought that I would try it out. Some aspects of the game are fun, such as the truth or fiction cards, and the What The? cards, but mostly it was confusing and long. Towards the end, my friends and myself included were becoming very disinterested. It does seem similar to Quelf, but in my opinion not as fun.

this game can be really really fun in its new edition. You will find yourself doing the silliest things and laughing very hard. I liked the game so much I made my own game board (the provided one is pretty ugly) and getting new player tokens. I admit that is kind of extreme, but it has made the game much more appealing. Playing it once or twice a year it is totally worth having for any family gathering. or friend gathering, which is how we use it.

It seemed like someone just sat down when they were reeeeally bored and made up a bunch of random rules (to the point where it was quite confusing several minutes into it). You have to be in the mood to be very silly and make a fool of yourself to enjoy this. I think it might be a good game for giggly teenagers having a sleepover. Not interested in ever playing this game again.

This game is so much fun it makes you do the craziest thing so if you have any shy players in this group they will probably pass on everything but if you have an outgoing group this is amazing! Great started game as well!!

This game was hilarious! I never laughed so much! No such thing as a dull moment playing this one. Each player is busy doing something constantly.

I bought this for my friend's family. It plays a lot like their other games (Magic Feather and Quelf for example). So while I found it redundant the kids found it a riot. I would recommend to a family with younger kids (with a lot of imagination and energy).

Very fun and unique party game but can get to repetitive. Once every two months would be good. Other than that make sure u have fun people to play with!
