I have had no more problem with blisters. The socks fit like a second skin. They do not bunch up like regular socks. My feet stay perfectly dry no matter how hot it is.
The night that I got these, I decided to wear them around just to test them out. The seams in the toes are delightfully non-existent; I couldn't feel a seam at all. As I took them off to go to bed, however, I noticed a significant amount of wear of the bottom of the socks. I had only worn them to walk to the bathroom once that night, but it wasn't a huge deal, particularly given the price being so much lower than Smart Wool products I had grown to love.
During the course of the trip I stepped in puddles well past my ankle (I suppose that'd be a pool, not a puddle) and wore brand-new, and thus un-broken in, boots. My feet felt dry almost immediately and I never felt discomfort from the socks. The terrain was so bad and the climbing was fairly intense, but my feet never felt sweaty nor cold in the 58 degree cave.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these, but probably not for wearing around the house.
The brand name varies but you get the idea.
They are comfortable socks and that is the only reason i'm rating them as high as i did.
According to the sizing chart these XL should fit someone wearing a shoe size of 12-15. I wear a size 14 shoe but i'm actually in between sizes. 13.5 would be more accurate.
And these socks barely fit. I mean just barely. If they shrink even a tiny bit after laundering, they will be too small. Just for reference, my foot is exactly 11.5 inches at it's longest point.
I bought these socks hoping they would help keep my feet cooler while i work. (I live in Canada and it isn't warm here at the time of this review.) I work indoors in temps of only 65 degrees and i wear mesh running shoes.
You'd expect something with the word 'cool' in it's name wouldn't be warm but these socks make my feet sweat! Ok, my feet sweat to some degree in any socks but these were worse than the cheap socks i'm used to. Cool-lite? umm... no.
To sum up, these socks might be worth the cost if your feet are no bigger than 11.5 inches, and you live somewhere cold..... like Alaska.
Otherwise, you might find it hard to justify the much higher price.
These are easily two times the price of any other socks i've worn and although they are decent socks, i wouldn't buy them again at current prices unless they last twice as long as the other brands.
occasionally provides massaging sensation.
Six months later and I'm about to order another pair of these.
The same pair I bought before are still in good shape.
I prefer these socks, they are very durable.
I know that after a nice long run during the hot summer months that my feet will remain blister free - these socks are a big reason why,
