With this Induction Charger I Pretty Much Found what I was looking for.
One problem I had was getting the lights to stay constant and then show that the remotes were charged... well by my mistake I had the Charger sitting on an old dvd/vcr combo It was somehow causing interference with the panel being able to charge.
One of my remotes would give a constant quick red flashing light. It would no longer charge, I tried it on different parts of the panel and I would get the same result. So I read around and Saw that you can Replace the Batteries in the Charger Pack... I took apart the battery pack and the two batteries were AAA batteries apparently rechargeable. I acquired some Energizer AAA rechargeable batteries 850mah which just means once it's charged it will last longer. The batteries that come with the remote are around 500mah they charge faster than the remote that I replaced the batteries in but the other one will outlast the 3 original batteries never really an issue though.
the battery pack has to be attached to the Wii Remote to Work on the Charger too, I thought the batteries would not work at first because I was only trying to charge the pack, then just out of hope I put it on the Wii Remote and it charged... Hope this helps someone out, It beats purchasing a new charger :)
1) lining up the remotes on the pad can be a little tricky, in particular, if you have sleeves on the wimotes. There are magnets in the pad to assist in this process but they don't really make it obvious that you have everything lined up. Several times we've thought we had a remote on the charger only to discover the next day that it had not charged. Having the panel perfectly flat looks aesthetically pleasing, but the reality is that a slightly sculpted surface would make it much easier to place the remotes where they need to be.
2) the batteries do not hold enough charge. Most of the time this is not an issue. However, if the kids fail to get the remote on the charging pad perfectly (as outlined above) then forget about using the thing two days in a row. We have four remotes and rarely have four people playing at once so most of the time we can just swap out a remote if it looses its charge, but if you want to have four people playing be prepared to swap in a pair of AA batteries on occasion.
Before we got four remotes we used a InCharge Dual Charge Station which also worked well for us and I will also post a review of it. It's design is not perfect either, in the end both products functioned about equally but I would give the slight edge to the Enegizer Flat Panel charger.
I realized that my problem was that I had placed the charger on top of a Blueray player and that was causing interference. Once I placed the charging pad away from all electronics, it worked perfectly. The light only for the designated remote comes on (solid red at first), and in the morning was solid green.
So a couple suggestions for Eveready:
1) State a caveat in the instructions that the charger should not be placed on or near other electronics due to possible interference.
2) Explain the blink patterns in the instructions (e.g. fast blink red, slow blink red, all blink, etc.) The red/green is explained and is obvious.
3) Make the outline on the base a little more clearer. With jackets on remotes, the magnetism is not as strong so correct positioning for optimum charging is required.
