What a beautiful book, and a joy to flip through and read. The recipes are elegant but not over-the-top. As a chef I like the way the recipes are written in a streamlined fashion. Only drawback I see is that for the home cook or novice cook there may be some techniques that the recipe assumes the reader knows, that aren't explained in much detail--one of the reasons I love this book. But, even if you never use the recipes it's an amazing coffee table book, divided into sections by type of Alaskan seafood. Any techniques not explained could certainly be obtained from other sources for anyone rolling up their sleeves and making some of these mouthwatering recipes. Definitely recommended.

This is one of the most beautiful cookbooks I have ever seen. The photographs are extroadinary. Haven't tried the recipes yet, but it will not be put on a shelf. I intend to leave it out for all to see. Nicosia-Nadler deserves high praise for her photography talent.
