All that I know is what I hear and these guys sound great. They have a Tom Petty thing going with a little more flare and some guitar pyrotechnics. Good listening all the way through. Where the fifth star dont come in, is, I kind of cant get over all the Hey-yeah's and ooh-ahh's that the band harmonize together throughout most of the songs here and there. I guess this seems to be what alot of the young maybe alternative punk bands are doing, not sure where to classify at. Either way, I can listen passed this and really enjoy the whole thing. Seems to be a very promising future in the talent here. I will be interested to see where they go with the next effort.
Afterward, the band went over to the t-shirt sales table and we got to meet all of the band members, shake their hands, and I even had my picture taken with them. We bought their 'From the Sandcastle' cd and they signed it for us, and we played it in the car on the way home. We became huge fans of the band and sincerely hoped we would be hearing more from them. So we were very excited to learn of the pre-release of their new album, 'Wild Child'. And we were not disappointed! The album is down 'n' dirty rock and roll, just the way we like it, and has the fuzzed-out amplifiers to prove it! This is the way rock music used to sound before all the disco crap started coming out, God help us all! This album is worth the price and we hope you enjoy purchasing it and sharing it with friends who have never heard of this band. Give 'em hell, Tyler!
