That said, there aren't a lot of situations where I'd choose these over a cam. They're a nice way to extend your rack that's cheaper and lighter, but I would only buy one set; this isn't something you need to double up on.
The place where these shine best is in building anchors that you'll need to leave behind. The big pieces are bomber and leaving them in the wall is less painful on the wallet than leaving behind a cam.
