Both Trace and Brindle upset me at the beginning of this story. They were both being extremely stubborn. I guess that’s the point, though. And it was like Trace couldn’t help but to be there for Brindle, no matter what. To her credit, Brindle doesn’t take too terribly long to open her eyes to what an amazing man she has in Trace. So if, like me, you’re afraid the push/pull will go on for too long, don’t worry. This story is more about the couple learning what it means to be loved and to love unconditionally. They realize that a grown up relationship is not quite as scary as they had thought when both parties are invested in that relationship.
As well as #TeamTrindle finding their HEA, there is a lot more flirting going on with all of their friends. Hoo boy! There is some heat between Sable and Chet and I cannot wait to see where that one goes, she’s one tough cookie! It was also fun to sit in on Brindles requested married women time, where she asked her married friends, sisters, mom, etc. to help her to be a more patient partner. They share their tips and tricks for a happy and successful relationship with her and it’s a lot of fun.
Where there’s not an overwhelming amount of depth to this story the way some of this author’s books can be, it’s still very touching and loving. I look forward to her stories and she never disappoints.
Yes, I found Brindle (and Trace, to a lesser extent) frustrating, but I found the effort that they put into their relationship very realistic and I was glad that they found their way back to each other.

Brindle Montgomery thought she needed to leave Pleasant Hill, leave her cowboy behind to see if how she felt was real and not clouded by history and lust. A few months in Paris and she back home to tell the man she loves that not only does she want to commit to a relationship with him but that she’s also carrying his baby. However their reunion does not go as planned....
Trace Jericho has been in love with Brindle since their were teenagers but he’s always played by her rules, that meant no long term commitments and hanging out together as ‘friends/lovers’. However he’s now spent a few months without Brindle, during this time he’s drove everyone nuts.... he’s missed her more than he thought he would but he’s also hurt, her leaving him wasn’t something he wanted but he knew he couldn’t push her into staying either. When seeing Brindle for the first time his first thought is that she’s been with someone else, he didn’t imagine the baby would be his until he hears thoughts few words come out of her mouth ‘ the baby isn’t yours’.
Read how two people learn to grow from their teenage relationship and have one as adults. One who is afraid of commitment and one who is worried if they push to much the other will run.
This story was fantastic, you could see from previous books how much these two loved each other but were scared of making that change. This is another great hit from Foster and I can’t wait to read more from this series!
Wild, Crazy Hearts is the long awaited story of Brindle Montgomery and Trace Jerico. Their relationship has been on and off for years, but Brindle's decision to go to Paris alone brought everything to a head. However the news she brings back with her return turns both their lives upsidedown.
This story has lots of ups and downs, but the desire to make the relationship better keeps the story moving quickly along. Another hot romance that we come to expect from this author.
Brindle and Trace are in love with each other but neither wants to admit their feelings because they don't know how the other feels. When Brindle comes home from Paris she makes a mistake which she instantly regrets. This mistake however does not hold Trace back and he makes it known he is there for her no matter what. When the mistake is rectified Trace is hurt but is determined to make Brindle realise she is the one he wants. They both realise for it to work they both have to make changes also do some growing up.
Reading how their relationship grows and realising just how much they love each other melts your heart. They both go out of their way to show each other how much they want their relationship and the ending was emotional but in a very good way.
I cannot wait to read the continuation of their relationship when I read the following books in the series, which believe me I will be. I also cannot wait for the next books in the series to enjoy the other characters stories and can I just say I want to read Nana's story because I can guarantee that would be hilarious, I love her character so much!!!!
Highly recommended and I will leave you with one last comment.....
"Banana's and Doughnuts anyone?!!!"
Loved this story of two people who have loved since they were teens and get struggled with communication to each other.
Love how everyone got involved with their relationship just brilliant
