This is a valuable gift to every woman. A book depicting so well a lot of the ancient wisdom forgotten or just not noted. We women invest a lot in our career, dreams, family etc. But we ran the danger of spending a whole life just taking care others and not even noticing our inner strength. And as always, the body knows better, the body holds all the information and all the healing and ... and .. and.. all the joy, the laughter, the pleasure. Unfortunately the politics of life, meaning a life constituted through societies, deprives very often of the inner wisdom, bestowed to us by birth. And if you are lucky enough in this life to get sick in a way that doesn't kill you or you are just so ready without any illness, then you may come across people that have done substantial work in making that wisdom again available. And although everyone has an opinion, and a way of looking and interpreting that wisdom, with a book so well researched and documented it is impossible not to discover some of your missing parts in your quest for your embodied wisdom. I bought this book after a great seminar and 2 years later I cannot say I have red it. So many things to practice on my body, so many things to let go, to forgive etc. You build a totally different relationship with your body. It is amazing how much you will learn about your own character just by following a lot of the uterus self examining practices that the book offers. I am so inspired by this book that I am seriously considering starting monthly meetings with girlfriends to explore it together. Because it is vast.
Not buying this book means you are not honouring yourself as a woman before any other commercial activity you are having in you life. On the other hand, since us women have suffered a lot of inner hurts, you cannot push yourself to such a book. You need to sense when you are ready to open it. I kept it without reading it for a long time next to my bed. I am reading each time what I am ready to read I practically believe I will do that all of my life. It is also one great gifts for others.
I wish I read it sooner! It’s not new age, the author is actually a licensed physical therapist and have many years of experience working with women who have pelvic imbalances. She does go into energy medicine, which is real and not new age.
The ancient feminine have always connected to their wombs, they knew the power and how it is important for all women to connect to their center, their wombs for health, fertility, wisdom, vitality and I’ll add love. This is what this book is about.
Books about womb health is sooo needed. The ancient feminine always knew about this but this wisdom is no longer being passed down. This is why I bought the book, and since embodying my body more after healing a lot of trauma and doing the inner work. I finally picked up this book and I was so glad that I did, that I decided to purchase it after borrowing it from the library.
If you want to embody your femininity, feel healthy and sexy, and call yourself back home to your core as a woman, I highly recommend this book!

Tami Kent offers women a practical, holistic, and revolutionary way to make over their relationship with body, mind and soul. This book is one of the first places I've seen discuss how Kegels alone are insufficient for a woman's pelvic health, and how vital it is to relax those muscles. This is especially crucial for women having common symptoms of imbalance that are either ignored or worsened by Kegels until women are recommended surgery for prolapse of some sort.
Wild Feminine also discusses the connection between the emotional and physical body, and how women can reclaim their creativity, power, and energy by listening to their bodies. It's definitely challenging work, but Kent's passion for this topic is very inspiring. Especially the personal stories she includes about the women from her practise who have resolved their own health/life issues with these tools.
Basically, this book teaches women how to value their bodies, and how our voice and decisions impact our health. And if women learned this as teens, imagine the change we could all see in how our daughters handle men, childbirth, careers and stress.
I really can't say enough about how incredible this book is, and how thankful I am to have found it.
