We created Wild Friends as two hungry college students looks for healthy snacks. Since making our first jar in 2011, we've launched dozens of new flavors of nut butter, left our college apartment behind and are now based in Portland, Oregon, but a few things have stayed the same -- most importantly, our passion for great-tasting products, made with the healthiest whole ingredients we can find.

From Classic Creamy to Chocolate Coconut: we've got a flavor for everyone. We believe that eating healthy doesn't have to mean always choosing "plain".

Our peanut butters are 100% Non-GMO and used domestically grown peanuts. We set ourselves apart with easy-to-read ingredient lists, low sugar content, and never any preservatives or additives.

Dairy free.

Our peanut butters are 100% dairy free.

Non-GMO

All of our products are certified Non-GMO by the Non-GMO Project.

Palm Fruit Oil Free.

We do not use Palm Fruit Oil, emulsifiers or stabliziers in any of our products - stirring the jar is a trade-off we're willing to make.

Great for recipes and baking.

Our products taste great right off the spoon - but they're also awesome in smoothies, baked into cookies, rolled into energy bites and more!

This review is for the chocolate coconut peanut butter. I have been eating this stuff for maybe two years now. I have 4 yr old twins and they love it. To them, it's chocolate sauce. A lot of the complaints are because people compare it to Nutella, which it's probably not trying to be. It has 1/4 the sugar, so yeah, it's not as sweet. This company more than likely caters to a more health-conscious audience, so if you want Nutella, you're not the target. It's definitely not bitter, but not overly sweet. Just the right amount I think. We eat it on waffles and fruit mainly. It's perfect for drizzling over strawberries, a banana, or an apple for a quick, healthy snack. Simple and healthier alternative to a lot of the crap that's out there.

If you love coconut and chocolate you'll love this product. It's very flavorful and is perfect as a dip, spread, or my favorite..with bananas!! However you need to mix it a lot and make sure to mix the bottom because by the end I had to throw a lot out because the bottom was all dried up. I also paid $12.99 for this and found the same one a lot cheaper at Wegmans and other stores like it.

I make my own acai bowls and usually use almond butter. I was looking for something with similar nutritional value and quality and this was exactly the product! I put 2 tbspn of this in the blending with all the other ingredients and it comes out absolutely phenomenal! No, it doesn't taste like a Reese's peanut butter cup, but it's very good. I'm looking forward to trying new recipes with this!

This is far too thin to be peanut butter. The ratio of ground peanut to peanut oil is definitely not a 1:1. There is no need for the excessive amount of oil. It goes way beyond creamy to runny. Now, if you change your mindset to think of this as a peanut sauce, then it has possibilities. This is a fine product to cook in with noodles and shrimp, drizzle over grilled chicken, or as a dip for pretzels and fruit, but definitely not something that can be used as the main ingredient of a peanut butter sandwich. The chocolate coconut flavor is pretty good; a little weak on the chocolate, but still tasty. I wish I was able eat it by the spoonful though.

Luckily I bought mine to blend in smoothies so it's not too troublesome this go around. Will probably try buying a jar next time and see if that helps.

I travel a ton for work and I'm tired of constantly eating unhealthy meals packed with unnecessary sugar. I ordered the plain peanut butter and that's exactly what this is. No hidden sugars (like some other brands I obsessively compared), easy to pack, easy to open, and really filling for a snack or meal. I put this on a banana, toast, or into a protein shaker bottle to make those protein powders more enjoyable. The price seems reasonable for the health benefits - I can grab a free banana from the hotel and add some peanut butter for ~$1.50 and that gives me a healthy option. Priceless. Sometime I do wish there was a crunchy version, but maybe that's to come (hint, hint).

Well I'm only reviewung it here because I buy it from TJX stores..who get it in occasionally but consistently. It tastes great..though I am more partial to the Cinnamon and Raisin one. There are the odd seasonal flavors, such as gingerbread or sugar cookie peanut butter, all of which were excellent. When you first mix it..the oil does not run down the side of the jar. The taste is great, I only wish it were easier to find in Canada, as I ' ve only found it in different TJX stores, and shipping is pricey because it is heavy. If you can find it, you will definitely enjoy it.
