Elizabeth is basically forced out of her brother's household when he marries a real witch of a woman, and so Elizabeth decides to move to Montana where her best friend lives with her husband and family. A handsome cowboy named Nick, who's been in love with Elizabeth's picture for years, is her traveling companion...but when Elizbeth gets to Montana, she has the surprise of her life when she meets a well-dressed man.
A wonderful story. If you loved Little House on the Prairie and the Wagons West series, as well as the early Linda Lael Miller and Susan Wiggs books, you'll enjoy Wild Montana Sky and, I'm sure, its sequel, Starry Montana Sky.
She ends up moving from the east to Montana because her brother gets married and now there is a new mistress of Elizabeth and her brothers childhood home.
She goes to Montana to visit her best friend and ends up staying there.
This is a beautiful story that has twists and turns and in Sweetwater there is so much fun going on.
Debra Holland writes to excite and make you want to not put her books down. I had to read the next book and the next book in this series.
Then after this she teams up with Caroline Fyffe to add more with Caroline writing about other families in another small town in Montana and brides from the east start being sent to both towns and the stories overlap and together they do this beautifully and you now want to read all the series the Debra started and Caroline interjected her stories alone with Debra's and now you have two series but going together that you can't put down.
I keep waiting for new ones to come out from both authors in this duel series. I can't wait for the next one from each.
MUST READS, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Get them all and you won't be disappointed.
I am now an big fan of both of these authors.
Thank you Debra for your Montana series and adding Caroline on to bring two series into one in a way that delights and brings joy to readers of this genre.
