This book is not an effective tool for learning the information required to pass the series 7 exam. Use STC materials instead.
First thing that's wrong with this, when I purchased it, was expecting a professional book and a great online platform to take practice exams. Unfortunately this series is no where near that level of quality. I inserted my pin to access the site and began taking the exam, but within a few questions started noticing that the answers weren't always lining up with what was in the book.
The exam questions were littered with grammatical errors as well as confusing explanations for their answers. Certain questions would be answered correctly, but the question would be tagged as incorrect, then their explanation would verify my original answer.
Several of the questions would show up blank with no questions or answers to be taken.
When I emailed the Wiley Support team, they couldn't find my account, and repeatedly asked me to confirm who I was. This is still not resolved to this day, even though I have been able to access the exam and go through the exam multiple times.
Every time I would send them an example and screen shot of the error in the exam, the staff would simply respond with, "We have sent this to our editor and will get back to you as soon as we hear something."
When taking the actual Series 7 exam, the way that the questions are phrased are completely different styles than what is used by Wiley, there is 5% proper preparation with this program headed into the exam.
To sum up, if you are going to invest money in educational materials, go through a legitimate service, you get what you pay for. Don't make my mistake and have to retake the exam, paying the exam fee again, and having to get new study material (additional expense) because this material is ineffective. You 100% get what you pay for.
