Excellent descriptions and reflections made me imagine I was there “down under”.
Easy to read and with strong dialogue I enjoyed the intrigue and murder mystery Celia created. I do not want to give away anything but Alex joins Alicia and they team up for romance and mystery solving while she is on vacation in Australia. That vacation turns into sleuthing to solve a series of murders and Alicia handles it all with her usual calm, intelligence and appetite for adventure.
I love the fact that Celia takes us to different places and shows Alicia in a down-to-earth manner. She still loves her Pringles too. Her books are page turners that you just cannot put down!
Cannot wait to see what murder Alicia solves next and if I can learn about another location.
Sam Hendricks, author Just One More…
Once again I was able to join Alicia Allen as she finds herself involved in yet another murder investigation. I do love a good murder mystery and this one did not disappoint.
All Isabelle Parker needs is for Alicia to make up a will for her before she marries in a few weeks. She has inherited a large amount of money from her grandfather and wants to make certain that if anything happens, her estate will go to her soon-to-be husband. Sounds simple but in Ms. Conrad's books nothing is ever simple or as it first appears. With Isabelle's family being knocked off at an alarming rate and her own future not looking very certain, a will is exactly what this young woman needs - that or a good body guard - or better yet - Alicia snooping out the greedy villain.
This is a great book.
