The law in this book, unlike some other fiction I've read recently, is not the end all and be all everyone respects. Perception of the truth and PR can trump the truth and facts in this story and sadly in real life.
The book is a fun ride and I would love to see more of Will Tripp.
This is a wonderfully done short book about a white dwarf lawyer with a wheelchair bound female lawyer, a black man who acts white and a mexican american investigator who is very good at his job. It is truly a funny book. Will Tripp is annoyed at political correctness for costing him his best job in college. He took advantage of his size and was the thrown dwarf at one bar until it got stopped. This job was paying for his education until the PC crowd stopped it. Now he is crossing swords with the local collage PC big shot feminist. Interesting though when Will and his assistants look into her background and look at this that she has hidden for many years. Very entertaining book, well written and amusing.
I enjoy Mr. Steins writing. Reading his work is always a pleasure.
If on the other hand, you think the country has descended into terminal stupidity, well, then this book is for you. Although it takes place in upstate New York, I can't help but think Madison Wisconsin.

Managed to be side-splittingly funny while also being scary. Will Tripp is one of the few lawyers, fictional or otherwise, I've ever come close to liking.Published 15 months ago by Gary Wayne Herring
Great fun and great insight into how to make PC work for you and me.Published 16 months ago by beagleboy
I had to deduct a point for using the "c word" and for a couple very predictable plot points. Loved it otherwise. Dear author, more please!Published 23 months ago by Nancy Laney
wortth the price of admission, its a good fun romp, not too demanding, but the good guys win and the PC scum are shown up for the craven fools they really are. Read morePublished on June 28, 2014 by gareth_wellington

This is an extremely funny send-up of contemporary pc-ness. My only complaint is that the book was all too short!Published on June 22, 2014 by Richard Bienvenu
I enjoyed the way it skewered everything and almost everyone except the hero. If you lean libetarian you will enjoy this bookPublished on May 27, 2014 by G. Larson
