I was delighted with this book. The central character, a dwarf as well as a lawyer, is hilarious and clever. The novel is innovative in the sense that this "little man," in the course of defending his client, takes on the world of political correctness with wildly amusing results. I hope Will Tripp will become a series. I'd love to read another of his adventures.

I've been a fan of Harry Stein's since he was Mr. Ethics at Esquire, and have followed his progress as a writer and a thinker with great interest and admiration. In Will Tripp, he's created a character that deserves a series - a tough-minded, hysterically funny lawyer, vertically challenged, who wades into war with the champions of PC with admirable gusto, and who suffers fools not at all ( a lot like his creator). If you're tired of being hectored by lock-step progressives whose liberality extends only to protection of their own version of right and wrong, you'll love this little guy. And if you just like a good laugh, there are plenty of those too. Bravo, Harry!

The book began a bit slow but at one point I could not put it down. I loved the characters and the twists and turns. The is a fun fiction book for those who do not worship at the PC altar. As one with a couple of college degrees, mainly from schools where the major religion was anything involving a ball (football/basketball, etc) and PCism a minor tolerated faith system, the book brought back some memories.
The law in this book, unlike some other fiction I've read recently, is not the end all and be all everyone respects. Perception of the truth and PR can trump the truth and facts in this story and sadly in real life.
The book is a fun ride and I would love to see more of Will Tripp.

Harry Stein's latest book (and I've enjoyed and been instructed by every one) is a terrific satire of the Political Correctness movement which, for my money, has done more harm to this nation than anything else I can think of. Satire isn't easy when a whole society has gone beyond the pale of reason and turned into something akin to an alternate universe, but Stein found a way with Will Tripp, one of the most engaging fictional characters you'll ever root for. A real page-turner, the reader delights in the protagonist's boundless cynicism, snappy comebacks and take-no-prisoners' war on contemporary academia. Move over Christopher Buckley, you've finally got some competition.

Wonderful book about a conservative dwarf lawyer attacking a university bastion of political correctness. Recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh and is not offended by attacks of political correctness in collages.

This is a wonderfully done short book about a white dwarf lawyer with a wheelchair bound female lawyer, a black man who acts white and a mexican american investigator who is very good at his job. It is truly a funny book. Will Tripp is annoyed at political correctness for costing him his best job in college. He took advantage of his size and was the thrown dwarf at one bar until it got stopped. This job was paying for his education until the PC crowd stopped it. Now he is crossing swords with the local collage PC big shot feminist. Interesting though when Will and his assistants look into her background and look at this that she has hidden for many years. Very entertaining book, well written and amusing.

I enjoy Mr. Steins writing. Reading his work is always a pleasure.

Political correctness is prohibiting us from having an honest dialogue on anything. You can't talk about race or Islam or crime without having to watch each and every word you say. This book could not come at a more appropriate time. As all of Mr. Stein's books are, this book is well written and hilarious. I only hope Will Tripp will cause a few people to wake up to the destructive nature of political correctness on our college campuses.

This is a hilarious non-stop read, that has a laugh on every page. If you are a progressive, are easily 'offended' by politically incorrect speech, need 'trigger warnings' to get through the day... RUN AWAY!

If on the other hand, you think the country has descended into terminal stupidity, well, then this book is for you. Although it takes place in upstate New York, I can't help but think Madison Wisconsin.

Sorry, but this is one of the most enjoyable pieces of fiction I've read in a long time. Stein's wit, and the ridiculous, yet believable in today's academic morass, situations in which Will finds himself, are simply hilarious. Thoroughly enjoyable and I hope Mr. Stein has more fiction like this coming our way.
