I have been a comic artist and a self-publisher since I was in high school in the mid-90's. In 2005 my book Will You Still Love Me If I Wet the Bed? was published by Top Shelf Productions; it won an Ignatz Award for Outstanding Debut. Top Shelf has since published two more of my autobio comic collections, Delayed Replays in 2008, and Alone Forever in 2014. In September of 2014 my first full length graphic novel, a memoir about adolescence and gender stereotypes called Tomboy, was published by Zest Books. I recently co-created a comic series for teens called Coady and The Creepies with the wonderful illustrator (Nation of) Amanda Kirk!
I have had comics published in numerous anthologies, drawn stories for the wildly popular Adventure Time series, and I am a columnist for the punk magazine Razorcake.
Currently my cat Dracula is sitting on my lap, and his sister Wolfman is giving him the side-eye.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2016Super cute little back pocket book that is so over the top corny you can't help but get the warm fuzzies. If you just got out of a relationship, you will absolutely hate this.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2013I've seen a few reveiws where people worn't happy with this book, i belive it was because they didn't fully understand the format this book. It isn't a graphic novel it is a compleation of short comic sketchings. they are very cute and i enjoyed the book cause it reminds me of me and my girlfriend. I know this book isn't for every one but for 7 bucks it's a cute little book.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2009This is such a charming little book. It made me REALLY laugh, and I am now a huge fan of Liz Prince. She is a talented artist, and you won't regret buying this petite, amusing, quirky tiny book.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2015I did not enjoy this book at all. I knew it was going to be centered around Prince's relationship but I did not realize that it was not going to be a cohesive story. This book is basically a series of micro comics. Each page contains a 3 - 5 panel "comic" of something funny/cute that happened between Prince and her then-boyfriend. This would have been cool if the comics were just concise, like a newspaper strip. However, concise is too kind. These strips are nearly all just very short jokes.
I'll give you a made up example of something that would have fit in this book perfectly:
PANEL 1: Liz and her boyfriend are sitting on the couch watching TV. The word "fart" is written over the boyfriend's seat area.
PANEL 2: Liz's brow furrows. A tiny speech bubble that simply says "tehe" in tiny letters comes from the boyfriend.
PANEL 3: Liz's speech bubble says "Did you just fart?"
THE END.
I'm not joking, this example more or less sums up the entire book. It is more boring than reading your sister's 50 daily "today my toddler said..." posts. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing that would have saved this book would be some great art. But the art you get here is very sketchy, construction lines aren't cleaned up; it looks like it was all scrawled on a napkin over the course of a short lunch break. There are people out there who might enjoy this book. I'm willing to give Miss Prince a bit of a pass, as she has done better work since then. But I am still disappointed by this book, because it was very well-reviewed.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2012I purchased Will You Still Love Me If I Wet The Bed after buying -- and loving - Julia Wertz's graphic novels. I expected Liz Prince's book to be similar, and was shocked when a miniature book with some sparse, dull drawings showed up in the mail. Such a disappointment and waste of money! This is the sort of mini book you might grab as an afterthought at the book shop counter or use as a stocking stuffer, but there are MUCH more interesting and meaty graphic novels out there for the same price. I can only assume that the rave reviews on amazon are written by the author's friends, which is great for her but no good for the rest of us.

I expected so much of this comic, I was so disappointed. The quality of the jokes are horrible (very childish), the drawings are sometimes very bad. I bought it for a christmas stocking, the book is very tiny (which i didn't expect), so it fitted well. I wouldn't recommend it at all unfortunately.

It is so fun to read that me and my boyfriend carry it around everywhere. Person really can find himself in this little comic book and sometimes it was a pleasant (even though a bit weird) surprise to find out, that other people are actually doing stuff very similar to ours. I highly recomment this book to all, because it is just very warm and pleasant reading.

Small book but really good.
Kari SReviewed in the United Kingdom on February 18, 20105.0 out of 5 stars Yes, I will. I definitely will.
This little gem of a comic definitely caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting to get blown away in the way I did, mostly because I purchased the book because of the peculiar and unusual title of it. While reading it I realized I was on to something though, and I am now proud to have it in my collection.
