About Willem Neill
Will was born in Brisbane, Australia in 1993. Reading and storytelling became a staple part of his childhood and he soon found himself enthralled in the limitless worlds of fantasy and science fiction. Will has many fond memories of reading the works of J.R.R Tolkien, Raymond E. Feist, Emily Rodda, Sara Douglass and Andrzej Sapkowski among countless others.
Will joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 2011, and, in 2013, completed his Bachelor of Arts at the University of New South Wales, majoring in military history and English. Through all this, he never let either commitment to service or study draw him away from the fantasy and sci-fi worlds he continued to lose himself in. He now spends his time juggling between painting, video games (how else do you think he found out about Sapkowski?), running D&D campaigns and, of course, reading and writing.
In 2018, Will finally set out to do what he always wanted - introduce readers to a fantasy world of his own creation. Embered Soul is his debut novel and the first in a new fantasy series, The Fall of Creation. He continues to live in Brisbane and has many more stories to share with the world.
