When other reviews stated that this piano suited beginners, I thought it was good for me, since I've been only playing seriously for a little more than a year. But after trying this, I would say that if I got this as a beginner, I would've outgrown this within four months.
Of course, maybe I just learn at a shockingly fast pace, so to go to a more standardized measure for piano skills, if I can play music suited for Grade 9 in the Royal Conservatory of Music, then this piano would be suited for Grade 5 and below.
Also the box it came in seemed to have gotten a few stab wounds? There was a huge sticker slapped onto it from the USPS saying that it was shipped damaged and it wasn't their fault. Not having a power adapter is also a minus.
If you are looking for something very sophisticated maybe this is not your best option. But it's solid, looks elegant, simple and does what it has to do.
I gotta add it's a lot bigger and heavier than what I would have expected, but again, I didn't have a good reference because I'm a beginner.
