great for the price, yes chinese made but no messed up welds or anything like similarly priced jack stands on amazon which have been reviewed if you look around, as mentioned they are pretty tall, thats what else was hard to find, jack stands to use on my moderately (3") lifted fj62...one review said something about a 4 inch lift on a truck and he still had to jack it up to put the lowest setting under the frame, i forget what truck he said he had but no, he is either wrong about the height of his lift or the truck has the lowest frame ever. these fit under my truck on the lowest setting without being jacked by about 2". which gives plenty of room to work with on clicks up. moral of the story is these are great for a lifted truck and yes as everyone else said not a stock car. probably plenty of stock suvs and trucks as well though.
Jacks did great holding up my 2006 ram 2500 for a week. They feel sturdy and they're huge. Great replacement for harbor freight jacks since the recall.
6T is clearly overkill for most of us, but I got them because they have a good lift height, I can get my Jeep pretty high up from the axles and crawl around under it, about as high as those HF long reach floor jacks will take it.
Yes they bounce around in the box during shipping and some of the paint chips at the corners and such. Are you buying these to put in a display case or what?
I was looking for a V shaped head on the jack stand arm so it can fit on my Mazda 3 jack points (side of the car). The picture on the website and on the box showed a V shaped head on the arm. The V shaped head would fit into the metal slot on the underside of the Mazda 3. The flat head found on most jack stands would not work because the metal slot was very narrow and would slip on a flat head. However when I opened the box, the head of the arm was not V shaped but instead was flat. I already had a jack stand with flat head on the arm so I had to return the jack stand. Do not rely on the picture as it was not accurate.
Description of product says 2 stands are included as a set. Ordered these 3 times with a replacement, package only comes with 1 stand. Please change this.
