These bags are perfect! This is my second time purchasing them and I couldn't be happier. The plastic is just thick enough to feel sturdy but without being too stiff. They cut well and are easy to wash/reuse.

For those bakers on the fence about these, I use these mostly for decorating rolled sugar cookies and smaller details on cakes. I like the size of the 12 inch bag because I'm not tempted to put too much frosting inside, only for the buttercream to get warm - I have hot hands! I also feel like have more control with this size over the 16 inch bags. If you're looking to use a lot of frosting quickly, I would definitely recommend the Wilton 16 inch bags.

These are my favorite decorating bags. I purchased these to teach middle and high school students cake decorating techniques and they stood up to the job. The bags hold a lot of icing and they don't easily tear, allowing them to last through our two hour decorating session. I do wish there was a way to seal the bags at the top (we used rubber bands) because new decorators have a difficult time squeezing the icing down and sometimes the icing pops out the top. Other than this, these bags are wonderful!

Great bags, sturdy I have never had a blow out. I like the small bags because when you use the bigger ones the frosting tends to start melting from the heat of your hand after holding it for a while. I prefer to refill a bag as opposed to having the frosting melt or get too soft in the bigger bag. I have hot hands so it is a big problem for me.

BOTTOM LINE
I like that I can buy a hundred of these in a pack, and never worry about running out. The bags seem well made and are usable, but I wish they were wider at the top, so I can fill them more easily.

DURABILITY
I think the bags themselves, are made of a good, medium-thick material that means they won't rip or stretch easily when used with tips or with frosting with solids in it.

DISPOSABLE-NESS (because "DISPOSABILITY" is not a word)
Nothing makes clean up easier, than simply throwing these things out.

PRICE
The price is simply GREAT. Regular decorating bags, or smaller packs, can be so expensive. I think of this as an investment, and, since I don't decorate professionally, I am happy to just have this pack around always.

SIZE
I think the length of the bags is fine. However, I wish they were wider, and easier to fill with frosting. I find it hard to fill by myself, but maybe I just need more practice.

Excellent bags for decorating cookies with Royal Icing

I made the mistake a year ago or so of buying a bulk package of disposable decorating bags that weren't Wilton and I HATED them. I will never make that mistake again and stick with the Wilton brand. I use these for decorating cookies with Royal Icing. This bag size is perfect for my needs and a good price for the amount of bags you get.

These bags are my favorite bags to use when decorating. I know they are disposable but I wash them and reuse them until they get a hole somewhere in them and have to be thrown away. They are pretty durable and can be used many, many times before throwing them away. They are not too thin but also not too thick that makes the bag hard to use. They are just the right weight for cake decorating.I find them easy to wash and stand to dry.

They do what they are made to do. Size correct. In some cases can be reusable. However, they do stretch around the coupler when using medium to stiff consistency icing and makes little holes which causes strings of icing to pass through.
