I have wanted one of these for so long and I couldn't find one in any of the local stores I shop in. This product was delivered quickly and I have used it so many times for many different things. It works wonderful for trimming dough when making pie crusts. I use it when I make cobbler dough too, It's much easier to cut the dough with and my dough strips come out more even. I love the side with the zig zag for when I make filled pastries - it makes them a little fancier and it's so easy. I would recommend this item to anyone that does a lot of baking.

This is the only one that I have tried, so I cannot compare it to others. It works well. Makes a smooth and straight cut. I used it to cut out sugar cookies. I'm lazy! I don't like rolling out leftover dough after using cookie cutters. So, I had the idea to just roll out the dough and cut it into squares. It worked! I baked and ate all of the uneven edges myself. Sugar cookies are my favorite ( :
No re-rolled dough. No waste. Win-win!

I like the fact that it has both straight and crimped cutting wheels. The grip has a good feel to it and the blades work smoothly and are sharp. It also has a hole through the handle so I can hang it out of the way of my youngest when he is in 'helper' mode.

Scallop wheel doesn't roll freely

Ordered this item to make gluten free crackers. Especially wanted the scallop edging wheel to work well to give my crackers a nice finish. Well ... it DOESN'T flow freely. It keeps getting stuck & messing up my cracker dough! I have put a little bit of coconut oil on it & regularly turn the wheel in the hope that it will move more freely. At this point, I'm disappointed in the product ... but will work with it in the hope of improvement.
