I've used these for double chocolate muffins, mini pies and quiches, and mini pizzas. I never used grease/butter/cooking spray or insert cups or anything else. I just put the dough straight in, and bake in the oven. When they're done my food slips right out, and it's evenly cooked. I was concerned about the gap on the top of each "muffin hole" some people mention, that they have to clean those thoroughly, but I've not had to do that. I don't clean them in the dishwasher. I use a cotton washing cloth with water and a bit of dish soap, then rinse, and dry it right away with a clean towel. They're dishwasher safe, I'm just not taking the risk, plus I prefer to clean things like this right after I use them, for easier cleaning.

Like the king-sized muffin tin, I have yet to use this muffin tin for actual muffins. I use the jumbo sized tin for making breakfast biscuits. I've done it a couple different ways but my usual way goes something like this:

Grease the muffin tin with Pam. Go all the way up the sides.
Using ready to bake biscuits in the roll, cut one in half and form a disc with it in your palm.
Carefully press the dough disc into the bottom of the tin, careful to not wipe the Pam off the sides of the tin. The dough needs to fit snuggly.
Add your meat next. Pre-cooked sausage round or crumbles work well. Pre-cooked ham or bacon would too. Even chicken.
Add either a whole egg or a scrambled egg on top of the sausage.
Salt and pepper to taste
Carefully add another dought disc to the top of the egg. Try to not let is sink into the egg yolk.
Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.

It's a fantastic breakfast. You an even make pseudo omelets this way by adding peppers and mushrooms to the mix.

Like with the king-sized pans, I wash this one in the dishwasher and remove it immediately upon completion to blow the water out the holes on each end between the cups. Keeps it from rusting.

Great quality pans! Just made my first batch of muffins and they're awesome. Was going to use some muffin cup papers I bought but I really prefer just baking in the pan because I like a little bit of crispiness. Even though I greased and floured the pans, the way the "muffin overflow" on the top came right off I'm wondering if I even needed to do that. Clean up was a breeze too. I bought 2 of these as add-on items and you just CANNOT go wrong for the price when you do that. And with the excellent quality to boot. I'm thinking about looking for other Wilton pans because these impressed me so much. Recommend highly.

I don't know when this happened, but Wilton started making their muffin tins in 2 pieces. It's cups pinched by 2 sheets of metal, so the creases are right at the top of the cup. They're going to collect gunk and stuff, and eventually water too, so they're going back. Really disappointed. The item is nothing as is shown in the picture. What happened Wilton? I have a couple cake pans and they're glorious. These muffin tins feel cheap and awful.

Not much of a baker, but we live in a rather remote community and if I want to have some Cadillac baked goods, I have to do it myself. I have always liked gooey bran muffins, so I bought two of these pans (after borrowing some rather convoluted and sticky teflonish jumbo muffin pans) and the recipe turned out so well that I then doubled the recipe and ordered another one of these pans to be able to not have to reuse one of the pans and bake a second round for another thirty minutes. These muffin pans are (to this point) non-stick, although I continue to grease to prevent a calamity. I forgot to grease the pan on one batch and the muffins slipped right out with their crystalline glazed edges requiring very little coaxing. Each cup on these pans holds about 7/8 cup when filled to the brim. Extremely easy cleanup.

I have used various other muffin tins and I thought I would try the Wilton brand for jumbo muffins as they are priced a bit cheaper than others. I was hesitant because lower price usually means lower quality and boy was I wrong!

The Wilton muffin tin seems to bake more evenly than others and the muffins pop up nicely and bake all the way through without being mushy in the middle. I have been baking for years and the Wilton tins are just as good as the more expensive brands. Money is tight right now as the economy is not so great and that is why I went with the Wilton tins, to save a little money.

Not only did Wilton save me money it also produced a great muffin. Also too, when it came time for clean up the pan cleaned up quickly without any scrubbing. Just basically cleaned them with warm soapy water and a sponge and they were clean.

I bought this just in time for thanksgiving and boy oh boy was I excited to use this. So I had a friendsgiving and my contribution to our potluck was mini apple pies. I used the Pillsbury Pie Crust Refrigerator and used the recipe for mini cupcakes on their website. Thanks to this pan everyone loved my apple pies including myself. I couldn't get enough of it with ice cream. It baked them so evenly and golden and making that nice flakey crust. And i just used it again tonight to make blueberry muffins. They baked pretty quickly in this pan which was odd but then again my oven is a bit off so I don't blame the pan I blame the oven.

They are huge! I was hoping to use this for muffins but I'll go with the king size for that. You can bake muffins of course but the paper cases are smaller than this tin's holes. I will use this for mini souffles or pouch pastries or other kind of mini pies. They are very easy to clean and they state they are dishwasher safe but I haven't tried that.
