I honestly have no idea what people are complaining about. Wilton makes a great gold writing gel....Due to the poor reviews, I'd bought this along with CK's Shimmering Gold Writing Gel and tested them both out on a silver pan. The competitor ended up this peachy, shimmery colour while Wilton was a true, translucent sparkling gold (pictured on bottom). Even though my handwriting sucks, it was exactly the perfect colour for a Brooklyn Blackout cake.
