The only negative I can find with this product is that when I bake muffins from scratch, the baking cup pulls away from the muffin so that you can pick up a muffin, turn it upside down, and it will actually fall out of the baking cup cleanly every time. I made some muffins for friends and I didn't like the "pull-away" look that the cups gave. It looked like the baking cups were overtired and were trying to lay down, haha. However, when I use a store-bought cake mix to make cupcakes, the baking cup doesn't pull away even a little bit and looks marvelous.
I have bought these in many different colors and will continue to purchase them if the price stays reasonable. Check your big box crafting stores for these cups as the price there can be a little cheaper sometimes.
All of my local stores were out of these particular design cups. I had originally ordered the cups from the Wilton website to save $1.80 per pack. However, Wilton does not provide an estimated delivery date, and as the party date drew near, I feared that I would not receive them on time. I called Wilton, only to have my suspicion confirmed--they had no idea when I might receive them either, but offered to send out a second shipment for a ridiculously high shipping fee, which I declined.
Fortunately, Amazon Prime's 2-day shipping saved the day! Although I paid more for the product than Wilton charges, I saved money on expedited shipping, which ensured that I received the products on time. Thanks, Amazon!
After baking and cooled, the muffins do not stick to the cups. With the foil on the inside is the key. I will be keeping
them in stock.
