I like cooking breakfast, but let's be honest - pancakes can be kind of annoying because if you aren't just right on the timing then BOOM - they are burnt! So I saw these pans and here is the great thing: you make a pancake mix and the pans do all the work. I can throw it in the oven (375 degrees for 10 minutes) and they come out perfectly! Nothing is burnt and they are super light and fluffy! My kids customized each one with things like chocolate chips, blueberries, oats, sprinkles. They were pretty and tasty! I made mine with some nuts and oats and strawberries on top. Just fill them 3/4 full. I also used a little butter spray. Clean up is easy too because there is no residue when you pop them out. Nice invention.

One thing I did wrong was I over filled them with the batter, so the holes in the middle didn't become hollow. You can use any donut recipe. These pans are great. I love donuts but don't like the terrible ingredients from bakerys and big chains.. so we make our own. Perfect pan for perfect donuts. WOW ... So Excited To Make Donuts At Home!

I always bake from scratch and I came across a great recipe for Cinnamon Baked Donuts on Food Network. So I searched for some Doughnut pans and found these. I have several other Wilton baking pans and have always been a fan. These pans are sturdy and heavy. A real good quality and extremely easy to clean. Personally I never use non stick spray on any non stick baking or cookware as I find it can really ruin a non stick surface. I either use butter or oil. Anyway although I've been baking for years I've never made donuts. This was so exciting for me because I did not tell my wife I purchased these. So while she was in our family room I had just finished baking muffins. I had most of the ingredients already out and the rest nearby. So I made the batter put it into the doughnut circles and baked them. Took them out after they cooled a bit. Dipped them in melted butter and then dipped again into Cinnamon Sugar. Brought them into the other room and to see my wife's expression especially while I was laughing due to the fact that I just made these was hilarious. I was concerned about what size these donuts actually were as I saw some pans that looked like they were mini donuts. I would say these are a medium size and hope you can see that by the photos. These pictures are from my first use. So you can see I did over pour slightly on some. The top side and bottom side do look different.....so I would serve them Top Side up. But hey what the heck they did look good after dipping and tasted awesome! I am very satisfied with this purchase. I will be making lots of donuts for parties and gatherings. I feel this is something very unique to surprise your family and guests with. Also a very quick and easy thing to do.
