I purchased this pan because I was hoping to make a more nutritious version of the little packages of mini donuts from convenience stores. I have two boys who love those donuts and a nephew with a gluten allergy. For my first try I spooned the batter in and it was a real mess. I overfilled and the donuts came out looking more like muffins. On the second try, I loaded the batter in a decorating bag (for frosting cakes) and squeezed a line of batter into each cavity. It worked great!

We purchased this product to make gluten-free donuts. We were pleased with the pan and my 10 year old daughter used the recipe that came with the pan to make gluten-free donuts. She used our own gluten-free flour mix and we cooked them in a toaster oven. Easy removal and clean-up.

I have a bunch of these Wilton pans and they always work great....although, like most teflon based kitchenware, I still have to use an oil spray to prevent sticking. But used with a spray, whatever you bake in these pans pops right out! Just be sure to get rid of any dough that might be stuck in the pan before refilling for another round of baking or else you will experience stickage. Although there are manufacturing seams present where each doughnut depression meets the frame, I have never had that seam hold onto dough. Additionally, they are easy to clean. Each doughnut made in these pans is a mini size of 2-3/4".

I bought these for our poetry teatime in our homeschool. My four year old daughter kept begging for donuts. I knew these were small, which is what I wanted. I bought them intending for them to be a small snack and bite size, which is just what they are and perfect for our tea time! I wish the pan itself was bigger though. The recipes included require you to make multiple batches in one pan. While they bake very quickly, waiting for them to cool to start the next batch leaves me chained in the kitchen. The pan is about half the size of a normal baking sheet. You could easily fit two of them in the oven on the same rack and save yourself some time.

Besides wishing it was 24-cavity instead of 12, this is exactly what I wanted and works wonderfully.

I loved doughnut pan!! I ordered 2 pans to bake doughnuts instead of frying them. I also used it to bake small cake and decorated them with glaze, Yum! The cake just slided out of the pan. I always greased the pans just to be sure.

Easy to use - great mold! Smaller than I thought it would be, but still perfect. The trick is filling each cavity only halfway, in order to get a good heart shape and using some type of oil to grease the pan before pouring batter.

Nice pan, and generally nonstick. I run a toothpick around the edge and they pop put nicely, even without oiling the pan first. I deducted one star for the size. I knew they were going to be small donuts, but they are even smaller than I expected. They fill with just a bit over one half tablespoon of batter. Any more than that and they produce mushroom shaped cake. Each donut measures only 1 1/2 inch in diameter. Being this small, they tend to over cook very easily. Only 6 minutes at 350 F and they still end of dry. I was able to get a moist batch once but I forgot the amount of oven time. Al I know is that they looked undercooked since they did not have enough time to brown. The Nopro pan is a better size at 2 inches in diameter for each donut. Plus the center post in the Nopro pan goes to the top of the donut well, unlike the Wilton pan which stops short. The short post also limits the amount of batter before overfill.

Make sure to buy 2 pans, otherwise you will be baking donuts forever! Donuts turned out perfect each time. Best to use a piping bag to pipe the batter into each well, or ziploc bag with the corner cut off. Provides more control over the amount of batter going into each well and you will get the "hole" in the middle instead of looking like just a round donut.
