I've already made a batch of Ben & Jerry's recipe for "Superfudge Brownies" and they came out perfectly.
Though I have not personally verified this, a number of cookbooks recommend light colored pans for baking brownies, arguing that heat is conducted less evenly with dark colored pans, resulting in the edges being overcooked.
