I made cornbread with vegetable filling, and it turned out perfect. They cornbread was thoroughly baked to perfection, complete uniform baking, no hot spots, no dry areas and no crispy edges. It was moist, light, and springy, and it lifted out completely intact. This could be the best cornbread that ever came out of my oven. No sticking bottom and nothing stuck to the sides. Actually, after I slid the cornbread out, the pan looked completely clean. Obviously, clean up was a snap. Just rinsed out with a soft sponge, dried it, and put it away.
This pan is able to go into the dishwasher, although, it is not recommended, and definitely NOT if dishwasher tablets are used.
The pans clean up quickly, but I don't recommend putting these in the dishwasher very often. The pans are coated, and the abrasive nature of the dishwasher will take its toll over time. But you really don't need the dishwasher with these anyway. So far, a nice quick rinse out solves almost all cleaning issues, and a little swirl with the cloth takes much longer.
For those who aren't familiar with bakeware, it should be inverted to drain and then flipped over to air dry. This avoids long term exposure to water and the potential for rust.
