After a trip to D.C. the sparks start to fly between Becca and Colin. Their touch is electric, but what about her finance? Will the Wind Chime Cafe have a wedding in a couple weeks? Or does Colin make Becca question everything about her life and about Tom? Their are secrets in both of their pasts so will Becca make the correct choice and follow her heart?
This book drew me in and wrapped around me. I loved all the Characters and if you read Wind Chime Cafe you will remember some of our favorites: Della, Will, Annie and Taylor. It is amazing how a story as sweet and loving as this one can make you feel good when you finish it. This book has a depth to it that you don't see in most romance books. I love reading a story where you feel more than you are shown from the writer. So thank you Sophie Moss you definitely have a fan in me.
After a long reading drought, returning to Heron Island was the perfect remedy for my bookish funk. Moss's love for the Chesapeake Bay area shines through in her writing. Weaved into the gorgeous setting are real characters whose heartaches and triumphs tug at a reader's heart and make it impossible to put the book down. I gobbled up Becca and Colin's story in less than a day and dropped off to sleep dreaming about oyster shells crunching under my shoes, salty breezes running through my hair, and the sound of wind chimes tinkling in my ears.
I'm eager for the release of Wind Chime Summer as I long to meet up with my good friends on Heron Island and continue on this enchanting, bittersweet journey with them.
As the mother of a vet, who luckily came home unscathed, I appreciated the plans for the center to help vets. I believe a lot more should be done to help our returning vets.

Colin, a SEAL friend of Will's has been overseeing the alterations to Will's old home to make it into a Veteran rehab centre for wounded Vets needing a hand to get back into civilian life. He is aware that his Father, the Politician could hold the key in keeping the High School open but when old family feuds come into play, no one is safe from hurt.
I loved the 1st book and this one didn't disappoint. Whilst the stories are stand alone lots of characters from previous books are in this one and the story from book 1 is referred to, this is one series where I'd suggest the books are read in order. I'm looking forward to book 3.
Brilliant from start to finish.
By the time it was finished I fe!t like a resident in Heron Island
