They fill easily with even the cheaper butane refillers you can grab on Amazon, and light easily every time, and the little glass window allows you to see how full it is!
I combine this lighter with water proof matches I keep in an Exotac Matchcap XL and I have my emergency fire starting needs covered. Both of those items also have an area around them you can run a length of paracord through to keep them secured to your bag so you are sure to never lose them.
The item worked as described and both of the lighters I ordered from this seller arrived on time, and I give them the official emergency preppers seal of approval.
UPDATE: I couldn't get this lighter to take fuel. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a video on how to fill it. Wow, not that stupid. But to appease them I purchased the exact bottle of fuel they were filling it with in the video incase this lighter has a special size intake (which would not be good). Still wouldn't take fuel. So I sent it in for a warranty fix. They sent it back supposedly fixed. It still doesn't work correctly. I have to push the nozzle on and out and a little fuel goes in each time. eventually it fills. I bought it for my Bug out Bag, so I guess I won't need to fill it much.
Other than that, it burns strong.
I wouldn't buy it again. Definitely not worth the money if they all have this trouble.
Here's what no one talks about.. This thing has a small tank and big appetite. All butane lighters due to some extent.. This one is bad! It's well worth the buy for what it can do. But have to give it 3 stars cause I wanted it as a primary fire starter and have to keep it for emergency backup use only cause I don't want to carry a fuel truck around with me all the time..
