Honesty, redemption, romance, and lovingkindness weave their way through Winds of Wyoming, but they don't bog down the story with their hefty themes. Instead they are served in thoughtful proportion to the charming romance that the author presents. The western stage is set with quirky, simple, and loveable characters that transport the reader to a world the author obviously knows first hand and makes the reader fall in love with as well. Winds of Wyoming will stay in your mind for a long time to come!

I just finished the Winds of Wyoming. I LOVE IT!!!! What a great read. Totally enjoyed the characters! Would love to be at the ranch and meet Mike and his mom Laura. And Dymple - what a wonderfully sweet character. It is a well told story. I also enjoyed that there are some things left unanswered - and a sense of uncertainty about certain characters. Very well done Becky. Can't wait to read the sequel. : )

Winds of Wyoming is a great story about redemption and how God works in all things for the good of those who love him. The author paints a vivid description of Wyoming landscapes and characters, who spring to life in the reader's imagination. Having lived myself on a western farm around animals, I know her details are accurate. It's a complex story of intrigue, suspense and romance. The book displays the author's compassion for people who have lived through difficult circumstances and need an extra chance at mercy and redemption. Her main character is a young woman fresh out of prison and in search of a new beginning. Will Kate Neilson's Christian faith received in prison be enough to protect her from the past which haunts her? Will she escape the violence and guilt of her past? Or will it follow her to Wyoming and endanger the other people she comes to care about? The story is drawn together in a satisfying ending but I'm anxious to read more by the author. Great writing!

I truly enjoyed reading the adventures of Kate and all the interesting people she met along this first part of her journey. She is a wounded woman but God redeems her. She still suffers consequences to her choices but, again, God shows her how He redeems it all. Of course, my favorite character is Dymple. She will warm anyone's heart and make you want to sit and have some tea with her on her porch overlooking the grandeur of Wyoming. This is an uplifting read with excitement and suspense all rolled into a story of redemption that doesn't necessarily end all tied up in a bow. Can't wait for the sequels!! Reviewer: S. Thackrah

Kate Neilson's terrible childhood lead her down the road that eventually landed her in the Pennsylvania Penitentiary. While there, she finds the Lord and earns a marketing degree and is offered an internship at a Wyoming Guest Ranch. Desperately wanting a fresh start and to be a truly changed person she heads there with high hopes. But her high hopes are soon crushed when a man from her past finds her and will stop at nothing to get her back. Mike Duncan is trying hard to fill his father's shoes in running the ranch along with his mom. He's not sure about her hiring a new intern but when he meets Kate there is an immediate attraction. But it seems like the trouble their having started when Kate hit town. Will Kate get that fresh new start or will her dark past, she's tried so hard to hide, be brought to light? And will her new found faith be strong enough to carry her through?

What an amazing story of God's redemptive love and the power of His grace! I was totally immersed in the story from beginning to end and loved hanging out at Whispering Pines. Kate Neilson is the total embodiment of God's amazing grace. She was such an encouragement to me. Dymple was one of my favorite characters in the story. Everyone should have a Dymple in their life. She exemplified the love of God in her life. This was a very gritty and realistic story. This author didn't white-wash evil or sin. Yet this story is filled with hope that God can truly change hearts and lives. I love the way the author so naturally blended scripture throughout the story. It really caused me to ponder these truths in my own life. This tale has suspense, humor, romance and something happening on just about every page. It was difficult to put down. One of my favorite parts was toward the end.

The story created much thrill and suspense. I am not really a novel reader but I couldn't put this one down. My favorite character was Kate. While the story was good and I look forward to the sequeld I really, really enjoyed Becky's visual imagery of the settings where the story takes place. It made me feel lost in the mountains of wyoming and reminded me of the SHEER AMAZINGNESS of the great Wyoming out doors! I Look forward to what happens next. One more thing, It really made me think about How big Our God is!

Although this book starts out with a lot of intrigue and suspense it ends with a real fizzle. It references how "God does good" way too much, which may be good but after being pounded with it near the end of the story, the last page couldn't have come quick enough for me. Good start, bad end.
