For anybody interested in modern architecture and Richard Neutra, this film exquisitely describes the process of designing and building a 'modern' style house of the East Coast. It became a meld of modern exterior design with the interior design tempered by the Edwardian needs of a household with 9 servants. The film packs so much detail from an architectural point of view plus fabulous footage from the construction in the 1930's including some in colour, as well as family scenes in the house, many superb stills and watching it I got a real feel of everything that the Browns and Neutra went through to produce this unique masterpiece of a house. I really must say hats off to the Elissa Brown & Joanna Datillo and their crew/team for a stunning piece of film making and many many thanks to everybody involved for bringing this feast to our eyes.
