What I expected was something quippy and informational, and I got so much more! She makes me feel simultaneously inspired but not overwhelmed to learn more about wine. Her book has made me more bold, more informed, and more appreciative of all things wine. From her break downs of the production process to the consumption process, she tackles everything about wine with an absurd amount of both knowledge and flair. I love not only that I've discovered orange wine, but that I also know what wines to pair with rap albums and bring to my new boyfriends' parents' barbecue.
I will not only be enjoying and referring to this book for years to come, but gifting it to every person I know who's expressed even the slightest interest in knowing more about wine. Can't wait to see what Ross tackles next.
