I bought this unit in early January. It arrived quickly and looks great. After six months the left side no longer cools. Two emails and one voice mail to Wine Enthusiast have gone completely unanswered. Save yourself the time and money. Buy a more expensive unit that will last longer, or if it breaks someone at the company will care!

Purchased one of these wine refrigerators on October 1st on 2012. It was shipped to us and we set it up, turned it on and it seemed to work fine. We went on vacation end of December and came home to find that zone 1 which was set to 56 degrees had gone up to 70 degrees and zone 2 which was set to 64 degrees was now at 68 degrees. Neither zone would go to the set level. Went on line to Amazon and their return policy was one month. THE MANUFACTURER WON'T HONOR the warranty when sold by a third party, so basically we could have flushed the $190.00 that we paid for this product down the toilet and been just as well off as we are today. AS THE HEADLINE SAYS.... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!!! As a matter of fact, I will in the future boycott all products from Wine Enthusiast!!!

I bought this from Skymall (not Amazon, not that it matters) about 3 years ago. The temps never came close to the settings since it was new, then recently one side kept beeping and was reporting a temp of 81 degrees. Don't really have a use for a wine heater. I pulled the back off to see if it was just clogged. I have a feeling it's one of the fancy cooling gizmos you can't replace. It's dead. I paid with Marriott points but I am NOT going to shell out 200 clams for another one by this manufacturer. It seemed like a piece of garbage from the get go. Hard to tell when you're just looking at pictures on a website.

I bought this because it was exactly the size I wanted and it had a dual zone temp control. However, if I put more than two bottles in one side, it won't cool lower than 56 degrees on that side, no matter how long I leave it closed. I am going to return it.

This thing is bigger than you might think--being just a 12 bottle unit. It is also heavy, so moving it around isn't easy. It is well packed but that makes the box bulky--hard to handle by yourself. My unit started working fine, then went through a week of throwing display fits--lighting up all elements. Had to guess at temperature settings. It also would periodically BEEP for no good reason, sometimes sounding like the roadrunner. However, after a week or so of that, it has returned to normal operation. Having discarded the carton and considering the hassle, I would not have sent it back regardless (and it has always cooled). Oh--it is also not quite as 'silent' as described--at least not if you are sitting anywhere near. I ended up moving it away from my living areas.

Received as a gift for xmas, purchased through Amazon. One side of the cooler died, now just 7 months old. Web search indicates cheap parts (usually capacitors) used on power supplies, so all of these types of coolers are prone to failure. If you really want a wine cooler, buy the cheapest one and be prepared to occasionally replace.

Didn't buy this through Amazon, but got it as a present. Wanted to chip in because of my experience. worked fine for about a year or so. Then one side stopped cooling properly. THEN the unit completely died. No power, nothing. These are not easy to get repaired and Wine Enthusiast was of no help. Customer service said they would call back and never did. Avoid this product!

I bought this through a third party (Tiffany's designer deals) and after a couple of months, the right side stopped working. I went right to the manufacturer (Wine Enthusiast) and paid $35 to have a replacement sent. After a few weeks the same thing happened. I asked Wine Enthusiast for a refund and they referred me to Tiffany's . By then my 90 day warranty had expired from Tiffany and I was unwilling to pay Wine Enthusiast another $35 for a new product. I contacted Amazon Customer Service to get a refund. They were wonderful. I still had to pack it up and return it, but they sent me a free shipping label and agreed to credit my Amazon account.
