1) damaged: the cork for the Salt shaker went all the way in - makes it so it’s hard to get out it out and can be pushed all the way in
2) the holes are WAY too big - pours too much salt

These work just as good as the traditional! They look cool and shake out a good amount of salt or pepper. They don't clog a lot either.
I recommend when you first get them and after yoy wash them just to take a tooth pick or needle and make sure the holes are completely open and umobstructed. My salt stopper at first didn't pour much out but once a popped a tooth pick through the hole it opened all the way and have not had a problem since. Had it for a few months and still love'em
