You have the power to break free from the chains that hold you back
God has created each of us with purpose and potential. So why are so many of us fighting the same old battles instead of living the life he intends for us? God has already provided all of the weapons we need in order to find success in every area of life.
It's time to learn how to use them.
With clear biblical insight and powerful personal stories, Linda Evans Shepherd shows you how to break the chains of the enemy by putting on the full armor of God described in Ephesians 6. Shepherd explains the function of each piece of armor, how to wield it, and why you feel the resistance of the enemy when you try to find and follow your unique purpose.
You were meant for victory! Discover how you can win your spiritual battles to experience the full life you were meant to live--now.

She's written in a clear, concise way how to do this and the reader is left with answers that work and satisfy as he practices putting on his clothing and going to battle. This is a great teaching book that can be applied to all ages and a parent could read and study it with their children Thanks Linda for such a wonderful book about overcoming battles that everyone faces.
I enjoyed the book a lot. The farther in I read, the more excited I got about prayer and about praying for my future. I'm finishing this book at the end of the year (2016) and approaching a new year. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes in this new year after praying the prayer on page 141-42 for my writing and screenwriting career. I’m also praying page 58-59 over a short film project I’m planning for this spring so I'm looking forward to seeing the results of that prayer.
I've read other books by author Linda Evans Shepherd and have found them helpful, inspiring, and encouraging. While I'm not unfamiliar with spiritual warfare or the armor of God, there were enough new thoughts and information in this book that I found it didn't fail to leave me feeling inspired and uplifted, encouraged and excited.
Something new for this author is the fictional allegory which continued through each chapter. I found this interesting. I kept thinking it felt similar to the fictional continuing stories in author David Jeremiah's books Agents of the Apocalypse: A Riveting Look at the Key Players of the End Times and Agents of Babylon: What the Prophecies of Daniel Tell Us about the End of Days.
One thing I found a minor irritant was the heading following the allegory in each chapter "The Allegory Explained." It made me feel as if I were being talked down to, as if I'm not smart enough to understand the allegory! It might have been better to call this subheading "Discussion of the Allegory" or something along those lines. But seriously, this is a small thing.
Overall I enjoyed the book, got a lot out of it, and have already recommended it to friends. I hope you enjoy it and benefit from it as well.
When you apply the content of this book to your life, be prepared for a thrilling adventure like you've never had before. Through this masterful work, Linda Evans Shepherd will guide you to new heights.
