The only issue is that the wood is not finished well and is very porous and splintery. This makes holding a little uncomfortable and clean up requires drying the whole brush, handle and all. Still, glad to have this tool.

Sometimes mistakes are made…quality control can miss something, it gets Thru, it gets sold to a painter or Artist, so what do you do? Shoot them ? Curse them? Give a Bad review? (4th choice) Or do you text the company with a picture of the brush your unhappy with and give them a chance to make it right? I say the 4th choice is the right choice!

1 month later: Made some very good watercolors with these brushes. They are very versatile: washes, dry rush, details. They hold all LOT of paint, keep a fine point and have some snap.
Only downside: the bamboo on the smaller one (#2) has cracked and the point as fallen off!| Taped it back together. Not to disapointed because this particular one did not cost much. I'll order more than one to replace it... Worth the money.
