The selection of watercolors possesses good transparency, excellent tinting strength and good working properties that allows for consistent mixing and dependable permanence. With both traditional pigments and quality alternatives, the colors in this set have good mass tone, undertone, color strength and relative opacity, perfect for academic, home and studio work.

Constructed of durable white plastic with a hinged top, slide out mixing tray,
detachable water well and thumb hole. Closes to just 4×5×1" in size. When opened, the top serves as a 5 mixing tray palette and the drawer has an additional 4, bringing it to a total of 9 large mixing sections. The set comes with 14 pans of Artists' watercolor paints and a Cotman Watercolor field brush. Accommodates the INCLUDED 8 ml tube of Ivory Black.
