The application of traditional skills and modern colour chemistry techniques has resulted in a range of carefully selected Winton Oil Colours which are of excellent quality.

A high level of pigmentation provides good covering power and tinting strength. While it can't match the superior pigment load of Artists' Oil Colour, the Winton range is much stronger than many other artists' quality ranges. |
Consistency and TextureThe Winton range has a more uniform consistency than Artists' Oil Colour and is slightly stiffer. It offers excellent retention of brush and palette knife strokes. |
Surface SheenThe sheen of Winton is largely due to the pigments used so the gloss level varies across individual colours. This can be controlled through the selection of surface, the addition of solvent and the mediums used. |

I got this set for a painting class I took. Fortunately, the majority of the required colors were within this package and it was great. I was able to complete an entire semesters work of paintings with these paints and they never failed. The colors were beautiful and I never had an issue with mixing. The paint was good quality, using medium and terpenoid both worked out well with these paints.

HORRIBLE PACKAGING - CAME BUSTED

I received the paints in a beat-up box that looked as if it was opened and closed multiple times. The paints were all shuffled in there and some tubes were busted. Used the ones that were salvageable because I had class later that day and needed them immediately but now I can't send them back. The paints were recommended by my professor so I'm sure they are good quality but my experience wasn't good since the tubes were punctured and paint got everywhere.

Very disappointed when I opened my package to find three of the tubes of paints were damaged and leaking paint - didn’t want the hassle of returning them as was eager to start painting! Not sure how they were damaged as the plastic covering them (see picture) was un-damaged?
