About the authors

R. A. Meenan was born in London during the golden age of science fiction, and learned from the best and brightest authors of that time (though if you asked her, she'd call this "college" or "getting a degree" or some nonsense).
Now an adult, she uses her incredible imagination to ride-hop intergalactic military spacecraft, comb the outer reaches of space and time, and write science fiction and contemporary fantasy stories based on her experiences. She's also hoping to find the perfect cup of coffee and a better way to grow dinosaurs. Her books tell the experiences of anthropomorphic and furry military personnel and race driver shifters.
She lives with her wonderful husband and the pair have four furry children (which are really cats, but don't tell them that) and one human child named after a video game character. She also spends her spare time teaching essay-writing haters, molding them into people resembling Actual Students and Lovers of English.
She may not win the hearts of stiff military men or students who want good grades for no effort, but she certainly captures the spirit and imagination of time travelers, magic users, nerds, Students-In-Training, and fantasy lovers.

J. Dianne Dotson is the science fiction, fantasy, and horror author of THE SHADOW GALAXY: A Collection of Short Stories and Poetry (March 3, 2023, from Trepidatio Publishing), as well as the four-book space opera series THE QUESTRISON SAGA® (Heliopause; Ephemeris; Accretion; and Luminiferous).
Dianne’s short fiction is featured in anthologies and magazines. She holds a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and spent several years working in both ecological and clinical research. Dianne is also a science writer for online publications and is an artist. She is known for writing characters people fall in love with, in extraordinary settings with intricate world-building.
As a convention guest, Dianne provides insight into science fiction writing and characters (featured at Star Wars Celebration, San Diego Comic-Con, WonderCon, Cymera Festival in Scotland, and BristolCon in England), the science of science fiction films, and offers lectures on world-building and workshops at conventions about social media for writers.
Dianne is a member of the Science Fiction Writers Association, the Horror Writers Association, the British Science Fiction Association, and the British Fantasy Society. She lives with her family in Los Angeles, California.

Kathleen Newton is a homeschooling mother of four who impossibly finds a way to read more than 200 books a year, writes poetry, and can’t stop dreaming up new ideas, especially when she’s desperately trying to sleep. She imbues her stories with fantasy and magical realism, often drawing from her own experiences and eclectic passions. She hates scorpions, loves autumn, needs tall trees around her, and would really like the ability to fly. While she aspires to publish more stories and books, her greatest desire is for people to find themselves in her work and know they are not alone. You can find Kathleen on Instagram at @bookboundwithkatie

Probably a changeling, Fern studied maths and drama at university and went on to make little use of that, drifting between careers. In her late thirties, she finally discovered that she is truly a member of the neurodivergent crowd, and is exploring what that means. She currently divides her energy between teaching aerial circus, being a parent, and writing. In addition to these passions, she loves playing in tabletop roleplay games.
