International Addresses: Magazine subscriptions offered at Amazon.com can only be shipped within the 50 United States, APO/FPO address and U.S. Protectorates. We are unable to process magazines to other destinations at this time. Please contact the magazine's publisher for further assistance.

When to Expect Your First Issue: Magazine subscriptions ordered at Amazon.com are shipped to you by the magazine's publisher. The first issue of a weekly magazine should arrive within 4-6 weeks of your order. The first issue of a monthly magazine should arrive within 2-4 weeks, unless otherwise noted.

Once you've placed an order at Amazon.com, it can take one to two weeks for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. Your subscription is then added to the publisher's next production cycle and shipped via standard mail. For example, if your monthly subscription was ordered and received by the publisher in November, and the December issue has already shipped, your order may be added to the January mailing. You can find out more information, including how to contact the publisher about your subscription, in Amazon's Magazine Subscription Manager.

Renewing Your Subscription: If you are ordering as a renewal to the same name and address as the current subscription, the publisher will add the Amazon order to your current subscription. For example, if you have 5 issues left and you add 12 through Amazon, you will now have 17 issues left on your subscription. Please note that the expiration date in the Magazine Subscription Manager will not reflect if you were already on file with the publisher. We will work with the publisher to ensure that you still receive all of the issues left on your subscription.

Publication Frequency: Magazines which show "irregular" availability are those which are not published according to a regular schedule. If you place an order for such a magazine, you will receive new issues as soon as they are available.

    • Your name, address and email will be shared with the publisher. Control your subscription settings anytime using Amazon's Magazine Subscription Manager. Details

We will not share your credit card information or phone number with the publisher.

We will share the name, shipping address, and order information associated with your magazine purchase with the publisher. We will also share the e-mail address, unless the subscription is a gift. The publisher may use this information, subject to the terms of its privacy policy, to contact you regarding your subscription and for marketing purposes. If you want to update your e-mail address or if you do not want the publisher to contact you, you can update your privacy settings in the magazine subscription manager. We or the publisher may also share this information with a circulation-auditing organization, such as the Alliance for Audited Media and BPA Worldwide. These organizations monitor magazine and newspaper sales to provide verification of circulation numbers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ads... Ads as Far as the Eye Can See... September 19, 2014
Access Method:print_and_digital| Subscription Term Name:6 month auto-renewal|Verified Purchase
Wow. How Wired has fallen... Last time I had read Wired, the magazine actually kept my attention. This magazine is a collection of ads with one or two barely interesting articles sandwiched in the middle. While those articles are usually interesting, it's a travesty that you have to shuffle through near-countless ads to get to them. Even worse, a big part of the ads are native ads. So, you have to think about it for a minute before you realize it's an ad. And then you feel a little molested for it. I don't mind ads and even a native ad or two in my magazines, but Wired takes this idea to a new level that I always assumed would be reserved for the shadiest of magazines...

Very disappointed. I get my new Wired in, scan through it, and throw it away unless those one or two articles seem interesting.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do you like ads? Then this magazine is for you! March 28, 2014
Access Method:print_and_digital| Subscription Term Name:6 month auto-renewal|Verified Purchase
I read the wired website somewhat frequently and the articles there are quite interesting. So I subscribed to the magazine to get more of such articles. However, after having received a couple of issues I can say with some confidence that these magazines are primarily composed of ads. I actually counted and it seems that they put an ad on every other page. The largest interval I have seen between ads thus far is 3 pages and these "large" gaps do not happen very often. So unless you want to see what watches people are selling or what Microsoft's new marketing campaign is like, you should move on.

I like this magazine and the hat was sweet (very good quality and thank you for that because it was unexpected). That said, the magazine is terrific but I spot-read it, since it's layout is too frenetic and I lose interest after awhile. I think it's a great deal for the price, but I was not at all happy with the auto renew at $25, so I cancelled. I just can't pay five and then before the subscription is out, be billed $25 for the same thing. I didn't see the value in that, but this is my personal opinion. Others may feel differently.

1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing but advertisements July 25, 2014
    Access Method:print|Subscription Term Name:1 year auto-renewal
If you want to read about technology this might seem like a good choice, however after receiving my first Wired Magazine, I saw they are more concerned with social issues and making money by producing a magazine of 60-70 pages containing about 50 pages of advertising. The small amount of technology content was so boring I simply tossed the remaining 11 issues in the recycle bin when they arrived. What a rip!

I ordered Wired for my grandson and he cannot get it on line. I have tried to send him the information but it just doesn't work. He really has had no use of it until he gets the magazine. I hope he does get the magazine.

Never saw the free hat, and I'd thought digital meant I could access the mag on my iMac, but apparently I gotta have an iPlod, iPlaid or some other iThing to access it. That's at least one of the stars off. I don't like to wear hats or T-shirts that advertise, so I don't much miss that, although I could have used it today painting my house and obscured that pesky logo with big drips of Killz.

I'm looking forward to the magazine in another month or two. Those analog mags always take forever to start, then they're over too quick. Probably get several back issues, the way these things work. That'd be okay, since I haven't read W in a half decade or so. Price was right.

Sure wish I could read it in full-color and in plus-sized type splendor for my elder eyes via my iMac. Guess I didn't read the fine print, I was so excited about tuning back into Wired again. Oh well.

Mind Candy at it's best. Contemporary, insightful and really worth reading.
Their writers and staff consistently present a well thought out issue with themed articles offering various perspectives related to the theme. Important people in the area the issue investigates with thoughts and insights worth investigating.
Reading on the tablet is excellent and you can avoid the ads if you want, or see it all. Wired has been on top of the technology and it's implications for decades and it shows in their magazine. December issue presents concepts to keep your mind busy after you have put it down. I appreciate the introductions they give me.
Thanks to all at WIRED for consistently great issues!
