From the Author
The original, best-selling media ministry book. I wrote this while on staff at Ginghamsburg Church, serving as their first minister of media. Ginghamsburg grew in size and international reputation for the innovative use of media in ministry settings, particularly in worship. During my time on staff, from 1995 - 2000, average weekend worship attendance grew from 1000 to 3000, not including children. The church is located in a small town 20 miles north of a small city (Dayton OH). I was the original media minister of the church and was responsible along with a team for the church's creative vision and development in worship.
From the Inside Flap
"Len and his partner Jason Moore have literally written The Book (The Wired Church) on the development and use of engaging multi-media communications in the context of a worship serivce. Their wisdom extends far beyond the tools/tricks/media pieces themselves to team-building, brainstorming techniques, and managing the creative process. Len and Jason have been an inspiration to me as both a designer of worship spaces in my professional role, and as a designer of worship experiences in my ministry role. Perhaps most importantly, they care about a lot more than just what happens inside of worship, and recognize the need for churches to harness new communication tools for doing ministry every day."
