Great item, but I think the seller is offloading a damaged lot

Unit arrives with the earpiece cushion cover peeling off. Actually, a lot of reviewers have reported the same problem. It looks like a design flow or manufacturing defect, with very thin fringe allotted for glue contact the leathery membrane of the earpiece cushion cover breaks away from the rim. You can clearly see the cushioning foam through the gash(es). As the earpiece gets the most physical friction (putting the headphones on and taking them off), it's most likely that the cover peeling (separating from the rim) will proliferate further with continued use. That's most unfortunate, because the unit itself is great. It looks remarkably good and stylish, feels very comfortable, and has surprisingly satisfactory quality of sound. It works with power on (wireless Bluetooth connection) and power off (via cable for in-line play). Because of the cushion cover problem I've have returned it (to Amazon), but will buy another one just in hope that it will arrive undamaged. Seller does NOT offer a replacement, only return for refund. Kind of weird, eh?
