They are both the same case and everything but the actual pcb board inside is different for each. They hold a charge for a weeks turned off and have yet to have one die during use 2-3 hrs at a time. Bluetooth works from ps3/computer 15 ft away no issues. 2nd purchased to use with tablet and connect great as well. Pulled apart to see if I could 'build' extendable pads and they worked great. No complaints.
I had bought 2 but one of them always looses signal when I put my device on lock and need to reconnect every single time. But the other one with perfectly.
These on one charge will last forever!
The keypads were a little tough to use. They weren't real sensitive, and you had to press firmly. I thought, ok, I can live with that. I mean with the function keys, you pretty much had an endless supply of letters and symbols.
My problem was, after using it just one or two times only, the charging port broke. And I mean it broke off inside of the unit! I couldn't fish it out. I really wanted to and wanted to see if I could find someone who might solder it back in there for me.
Some may be a bit cheaper than others, in regards to this part.
I also asked the vendor if they could fix it, and much to my surprise they simply refunded my money right away, with no questions asked, which was very nice of them.
I hesitate to buy one again due to that inferior part of it, because I really loved the size and the concept and am a believer in the rest of the product.
If I could be convinved I could get one again without that breaking, I'd do it. But I could never charge it again after that. It in fact still did work after the port broke. It was just a DEAL breaker in terms of long term usage!
I would of preferred an mini keyboard similar to the build of a Blackberry.
The keys are to soft and you have to keep the key pressed longer than usual to make sure that it gets typed.
No issues with syncing, I guess the only issue is with the build of the keyboard. But maybe I'm not used to it, let's see what time has to say about it.
