I took out my rubber tray and slid this one in just to see how it fit and I had to grab a needle to take it back out to plug the wire in the fit was so good! That part could not be better! The wireless charging on the other hand almost doesn’t work at all without a magsafe case on your phone. I have a wallet case for my iPhone somI took that off to see if maybe that was interfering with the connection but I was still only able to get it to connect one time with no case whatsoever. 😔
I’m hoping I may be able to find a wallet case with magsafe as well but I seriously hate using cases already so it may just be a passenger seat charger.

May interfere with Android Auto

This is kind of weird. I bought a hybrid Accord this year and had wired Android Auto. I guess an update or two and suddenly Android Auto started working wirelessly. Then I installed this and it says my phone isn't compatible. Then, it connects and charges wirelessly. I turn off the charger and plug in the USB for Android Auto and it works flawlessly. So the wireless thing may be my phone or system (since it did not have Android Auto wireless from the factory according to the dealer). So I don't know if this messes with Android Auto or not. It does charge my phone and it installed easily. It looks like it is from the factory. The off button is a good touch when Android Auto needs to be plugged in to work.

One of the features I wanted most in my Honda 2021 Accord Touring Hybrid was wireless CarPlay with wireless charging. I was very excited when my car had both. The day I bought the car home the wireless charging failed on my iPhone 12 Pro. It would appear to be charing for a few minutes then quit. I have called Apple several times and they finally told me it is not an issue with the phone. I tested an iPhone XR in the same charger and it charged just fine. I finally decided the Honda and the iPhone 12 just don't work together.

The CarQiWireless fixed my issue. It fits perfectly. If you did not know it was an after market addition you could not tell. It charges my iPhone 12 Pro perfectly.

I have only two small issues that keep from rating this five stars. The biggest of these is that my iPhone gets warm after charing for a while. I can feel it through the case. I don't like the heat it generates. Although it never gets hot, I would still prefer that it not happen, even if it took longer to charge.

The second is that the charger turns on whenever I turn on the car. For many short trips I don't want to charge the phone. Some people will consider this is a time saving feature, but I would prefer to manually turn it on. This is not an issue as much as a personal choice.

I would definitely buy this again.

So far it has worked perfectly - easy to install and no charging issues. I haven't had any overheating issues, but it's also relatively cold in the car right now.

The tray fit perfectly, and looks like an original part of the car. The wire is short and does not clutter the area.

Good news: it really is easy to install, and it works. More or less.

Bad news: it will be blocked by most cases. I tried several cases, all of them supposedly good for wireless chargers (and they are good - for OTHER wireless chargers), but this particular charger just can't get through. I found only one case that allowed charging here, and it was the simplest and thinnest slim-type case.

Best results you get with no case at all. Without case this charger will charge your phone just about four times slower than from the same outlet via cable.

UPD 06-27-2022: almost a year later the seller contacted me and offered to send me an improved version of this product. Turned out they managed to make it noticeably better. Form factor is the same, i.e. it fits perfectly and is easy to install. The charging abilty is what makes the difference. It can charge my phone (same phone, btw) through the thick case, and charging goes much faster, although still slower than with the cable.

Considering all this, - and the great customer service, - I am changing the rating from 2 to 4.
