The Magnetic Charging Mount is made of what seems to be an aluminum outer case surrounding the black plastics. The plastic parts are thick and seems to be durable.

Design: 4.5/5
The overall design is really simplistic and can easily blend in with the interior of a car. The round shape also makes it easy to orient with forcing the cables the bend in weird angles. The use of USB-C port is a major factor that other manufacturers/brands should already adopt.

Charging Speed: 4.5/5
Supports Fast Wireless Charging even on Android Devices (Tested with a Note 8 and Note 10+)!

Additional Notes:
This product DOES NOT INCLUDE the magnetic ring shown in some of its photos. Those rings have to be purchased separately! For the price, it should have included at least one metal ring.

A Holder That Really Works

I have been through a dozen different phone holders in my car trying to find one that works and doesn't get in the way of something else. This is it. The magnet is strong and really holds my iPhone 12Max securely. It allows me to turn it in landscape mode, which is great, and the built-in wireless charging works as well. It is not so huge that it blocks the dash gages, and overall is just there when not in use. It is a little tricky to get on the first time, and I would not recommend trying to use it between vehicles just because it does take a bit of trial and error to attach properly. It also comes with a brace particularly for round vents which is good.

I really like this charger cum phone holder because I use it in multiple cars I hire on weekends and I wanted something which can fit in any car. The holder clamps can easily fit on any car. The USB cable is long enough the connect it with the USB port of the car. Charging speed is moderate and can give you some plus charge on your phone while driving. It does not hold the phone very firmly which is easy to remove. You can also use it as a wireless charger when you are not using it in your car. 5 stars from me for this charger+holder.

There is a small warning that this is only to be used with actual MagSafe cases and that is important to take into account. I have a new, dark blue iPhone 12 and I bought a cheap, thin clear plastic case so I could appreciate the color. I was disappointed to find that just this thin plastic cover was enough to weaken the magnetic attraction from the charger, and my phone would fall off the case down onto the car floor with even the slightest bump on the road.

Now I have a clear case with a small strip of magnets in a circle like the MagSafe configuration on the phone, and it sticks to the charger just fine. This is similar, I imagine, to the official Apple cases, though I found mine from another vendor on Amazon for about half the cost.
